Let’s be honest the Kreider return is not gonna be good. Boston and Colorado are the only players left which mean the first rounder we get is 30-31. Boston has no farm system and the Avs aren’t giving away their best prospect. Hopefully both sides can come to an agreement the next couple days

This is plausible, but there were definitely adjustments made system side about 2 months ago, along with individual improvements. It's shown with how the team has performed recently.

Skjei is the choice to be moved due to his ability to return an impact forward and the sheer abundance of LHD coming through the system.

We still have Staal under contract and I do not see a buyout in the future. His contract will just expire. Lindgren is proving himself to be an NHLer. Rykov and Hajek have to be learned about soon. Then the guys outside the organization atm.

Miller is rising and probably turning pro this summer. Reunanen has a deal and will be in the AHL next season, at minimum. Next you have guys like Robertson, who was a 1st round graded guy. 1 year left in the CHL, but could play in Hartford. He already signed his ELC. Jones is a while away, which is fine.

Could Skjei be moved next season? Absolutely. They should listen on him because there just isn't much out there available. This could be one guy that has more value around the league than on our team, and that alone is reason to explore.

I can’t even begin to imagine what it would take for the Islanders to have the best offer. Walstrom? Dobson? I don’t think it could be any less than at least one of those in order to make it palatable.

Quinn has a little history with Kiefer Bellows. I could see him being into Dal Colle also. We probably saw a lot of Koivula while scouting Meskanen.

I'm not even sure I can even recall a Ranger Islander pure hockey trade and there is a reason for that because no GM even Snow was stupid enough to risk their job if one of these deals backfired.
