They did that to tell fans that "Guys he's a good goalie. You guys are blind!"

Yeah that felt like a total shakedown to me. Wheel out the ex Oiler goalie to defend our goaltending. See, nothing wrong with our goaltending, Roloson said so! Nothing to see here!

So this is just a rumour and I have no idea how much weight it holds, but the talk now is that the Oilers are not closing the door on a goalie.


It looks like for certain a middle 6 forward will be added and a depth/#5/6 Defensemen.

I was told the Oilers are looking to change the chemistry/character of their group in an impactful way and have internally talked about ROR from Nashville. Who else fits the bill?

What I now believe to be 100 percent true is there will be more significant changes to the team. Pressure is on now and we have the cap space. In other words we aren't just adding Drew O'Connor and a Left handed Stetcher. This should be really good news to us.

It should be an exciting week!!

I hope you’re right. God knows this team needs more than another bottom 6 c plug like McCarron or another Stecher type of D. Get it done, bowman and that includes another goalie

If we got him and he can here begrudgingly that might not be a great thing. He doesn't help with team speed either. Great faceoff guy with lots of grit, but I agree that he's basically Henrique ++.
