Kreid or Die
Lot of his posts are LOL when it comes to his relentless attack on Trouba.LOL.
I disagree with most of that list but LOL.

I don’t think Domi is as big of a prick as this board seems to think he is.Max Domi
Pros:
- Skilled center
- Dick
- Diabetes
Cons:
- Takes long shifts
B doesnt exactly help our case though does it.I’m not advocating a DeAngelo move right now but a) the team that makes the most sense is Vegas, b) management there has a brass set and c) they have a certain prized prospect named Cody Glass who could headline a deal.
I’d much prefer a Connor or Nylander but I’d listen on Glass.
It does because they are not afraid of making a big move and a Glass is the crown jewel of their small group of young players.B doesnt exactly help our case though does it.
Well, as long as he still has diabetes, I'm in.I don’t think Domi is as big of a prick as this board seems to think he is.

If we win the lottery again I won't complain.![]()
Glass is a freaking terrific prospect. A legit blue chip center who can shoot and play effectively in all three zones. Kid has playmaking abilities up the wazoo.B doesnt exactly help our case though does it.
At some point all of the hard work Buch is doing has to start resulting in points. The kid gets a top 6 spot and p.p time every game and doesnt produce enough with it for long stretches of games. But hey,its easier to blame the coach when he finally gets demoted during a gameBuch has 2 goals in 19 games after he was singled out by DQ and I made this post:

Good that we have a “development” coach.
It back fired. Anyone surprised?
People really need to A) forget about Newhook B) Forget about the idea of trading Trouba
It's like the "We are getting Sergachev for McDonagh" thing all over again

And personally, I don't value "all situations" players as much as others. I've always felt that teams should be acquiring 4th liners or bottom pairing defenceman who specialize on the penalty kill rather than using your top players.
Buch was benched on December 5. Before that he had 19 pts in 26 games. I thought that benching was really harsh, and I immediately wondered if it would pay off to single out Buch like DQ did and feared that it would back-fire.
After the benching, he has 7 pts in 22 games. He is playing without confidence. Scared of over-passing and not sure what to do instead. It is what it is. I am not saying that we have prof of anything or that the outcome surely had been different, but I don't like DQs attack on Buch at the time. And he really demonstratively took out Buch from the rotation to put Smith in his place, that is not 'someone else is performing better and you are having a bad night', its 'your play is really unacceptable'.

DQs handling of Buch is a gigantic failure. I feared this exactly when DQ attacked him a couple of months ago and posted about it, something like DQ better know what he is doing here with the attack.
Buch had a really strong start that abruptly was cut short by DQs attack. What good has it done?
I hope this guy does more good than bad,
Yes. This seems like one part of the team to *not* mess with. Get a 1LD - somehow - and the defense is set. Skjei will be a terrific 2LD.I guess I don't feel particularly rushed to move a RD.
If they're as good as they're looking to be, we're not going to see their values plummet. We can move them if there's a clear deal that makes sense, and/or if someone like Lundkvist makes a deal apparent (not unlike what Shesterkin is doing right now). If the prices get too expensive, that's fine as well. Because a high price means a high performance, which means we still get value in return.
If they're not as good as they're looking to be, you obviously run the risk of not maximizing the trade value, but you'll also have a much clearer picture of which ones stay and which one goes. And Lundkvist could once again be a factor in how that is approached.
Those scenarios considered, I think I really like what we have and would rather a deal or a player (internally or externally) "force" us to make a move. I don't think we're at point, no matter how things play out, where a move is necessary.
Not sleeping on Glass, I don’t see why Vegas would have any motivation to move him thoughGlass is a freaking terrific prospect. A legit blue chip center who can shoot and play effectively in all three zones. Kid has playmaking abilities up the wazoo.
Don’t sleep on Glass.
Because they’re somehow in a win-now mode, believe it or not. They fired a consensus really good coach because they expect to have a big playoff run. I sense they’re willing to move anyone. Not sleeping on Glass, I don’t see why Vegas would have any motivation to move him though
I'd be shocked if the Rangers moved Trouba and IMO it would almost certainly be a stupid move on our part. He's our main matchup defenseman and also our main penalty killing defenseman. DeAngelo and Fox (at least not yet) don't really do those things at least not with any regularity.
