Donskoi I’m interested in, outside of that I woulda been interested in Hags (although not at the term he signed for)
Brian Boyle and Colin Miller as depth big-bodied wingers. Marcus Johansson on a 1-2 year deal

I think Vesey goes. 50/50 on Kreider. Buch will stay unless he is a main piece for something like Nylander. Which is doubtful. Think we will swallow at least one bad contract for some more assets from a cap strapped team
Vesey can be dealt for all I care. To me he's the only player left that can be traded and that I wouldn't mind going. Afaic Kravtsov or Kakko will easily take over for him.
Kreider, as said so many times is just to important for our locker room. He has to stay and re-sign a fair deal.
I don't understand why we want to trade Buch at all. He's shown growth at the end of last season. We have re-sign him and see what we have here.
Shat and Smith, I can't see any team willing to give up anything here. Just sit-out the bad contracts. We'll be fine.
What UFAs do we like besides Panarin?
Without any idea of cost, at face value i'd at least inquire on Donskoi, B. Boyle, Ferland, Maroon, Kruger, C. Wilson. Some of them can be helpful beyond being stopgaps. I particularly like Donskoi and Ferland.
Ferland would be perfect if he didn't have all the injury concerns.
On a 1 year deal, I like Boyle.
On the potential pieces to add via cap dump front, and I'm surprised Viper hasn't suggested this, Would Vegas part with Carrier?
Two of my favorite Rangers, and I agree. With the wingers on the market this off-season AND the young wingers both developing and joining the organization (Kakko), I'd be okay with Gorton trading both Buchnevich and Kreider.
I don't really understand why we would trade Buchnevich at this point unless it was for a comparable center.
Yeah I don't see a good reason to trade beyond a concrete upgrade at center.I don't really understand why we would trade Buchnevich at this point unless it was for a comparable center.
That's the point, IMO. If he's the piece that gets you into range for Turcotte/Zegras/Cozens/Newhook/Dach, then you move him. (Though I'd do it for Boldy too.)I don't really understand why we would trade Buchnevich at this point unless it was for a comparable center.

Likewise, if he's the core player TML/TBL demand in a deal to move Nylander/Point, then you move him.
You don't move him for just anybody, that's for sure.
I want to see Buchnevich dealt to Columbus for Wennberg just to watch the world burn.I don't really understand why we would trade Buchnevich at this point unless it was for a comparable center.

I think he meant WilsonColin Miller is a defenseman.

You understand that those two things may be mutually exclusive?
