Comment: 2m retained on a center like Gourde that can play the toughest match ups helps our cap situation a ton. We get a lot more quickness at center ice. Beef up the wings. 10 and 16 in the draft gives Drury more ammo to use down the line. I think that McDermid is a bit underrated as a player. He can PK. Would be a good partner for Lundkvist. Getting Reeves is of course a bit lunacy and he shouldn’t play in the POs if we get there, but…

Both Grieg and Washurak are gritty energy forwards. Really gritty. Definitely has potential to come in in 2-3 years and provide cheap depth.

This team should be a contender. Goodrow-Gourde are proven, Kakko over Coleman is a upgrade. A Panarin-Zib-Laf line has all the potential in the world. Kreider-Thomas-Kravy should be a good 3rd line. The 4th is good. D pairing 1-3 are all good enough for a contender. Shesty. No excuses to not be a contender. I would bet on that it would be.

This would be the worst top line on any team. Goodrow and Gourde are not first line players and Kaako, still doesn't look like he was a top 2 pick in the draft. That would be a decent third line, but definetly not for your top 2 lines. Gourde maybe as a 2nd line player. Goodrow at best is a 3rd liner, Kakko well we will be lucky f he can score 3o points in a season.

It’s awful and always has been. At least with FIFA the player ratings make sense. The NHL games are garbage, I think the last one has Jagr with more foot speed than Chytil. Dumb.

Yeah, we can argue about the prospects in the return, or what we're going to do with Mika or the cap or the 2c spot, but the big question about the neck thing is totally beyond us. Even people in the field who can BS about it from a little bit higher ground probably aren't specialists, and definitely don't have any of the information about his specific case.

Lol are you high? Why do we want seth jones just to move him for Gourde lol. Why wouldnt we just use that for Larkin, lindholm someone that can grow with the team rather than a 30yo Gourde. I know you have a massive hard on for him but jeez. Mcdermid sucks and should not be in our top 6.

3 and 4 i really have to think about since im not a big fan of selling high on buch and getting Rob thomas who had a very down year and the 16th in a shit draft.

The funny thing is Adams wants a serious offer before he shows teams Eichel's medical files which is understandable but then he sets the price to 2 roster players, 2 top prospects, 2 picks. Has a GM actually seen Eichel's medical files so far? Which GM would still table the same offer if his neck injury is so serious and potentially derailing? I'm emotionally invested in Adams maintaining his asking price and Eichel starting the season as a Sabre.
