Cuylle's numbers in his first AHL season crush either of these guys.

People continue to have the wrong idea for who Cuylle is as a player. He’s much more than just a fourth line banger.

Not gonna happen. Cuylle is exactly the kind of player this team needs sooner than later.

Im not commenting on Zibs but in a 32 league team I look at things in tiers. Top 12 would be above average. 13-20 would be average. 21-32 would be below average.

It would be average if there were only 32 Centers in the league. Being Top 12-15 among all Centers puts you in the elite tier of top line Centers. It's not average lol.

Zib is a top tier center in talent. Unfortunately, he has zero FU to his game. Neither does our 12 million dollar man. Add our no1 _9.5 million dollar dman to that list. That's 30mill of straight up baby lamb soft serve. Chytil, Kappo, Laff aren't about to ruin anyone's night.
This team needs some balls in the Top 6.

His numbers have dropped as he gotten older and the double shoulder surgery didn't help. Bring him back. Kane puts out a video working out. Bring him back. His defensive metrics suck ass. His hip was f***ed befpre the surgery. It will be f***ed up after hip resurfacing surgery. Bring him back too. Such bullshit. Push Lafreniere and Kakko to the back again. What's wrong with them? They suck. They are slow. They can't skate. Boo.

That information refers to the 2nd buyout period. I don’t believe the player needing to be on the roster at the previous trading deadline was part of the 2005 CBA. That clause was added with the 2013 CBA. I could be wrong.

Once again I said I look at players in tiers. I clearly said in my first post and in a follow up post that I was only speaking about first line centers not all centers. If you want to say the 15th best first line center is elite that is perfectly okay. I just have a different view. Would you say the 15th best QB in the NFL is elite? The 15th best center in the NBA? The 15th best goalie in the NHL?

With the stagnant cap, it's really an issue of speed/first mover. Killorn got paid (!!!), and that must irk Tarasenko.

In defense of Theofanous (Tarasenko's old agent), he did quite well get Kostin and Varlamov. Varlamov could of made a higher AAV short-term, but I'm assuming he instructed his agent he rather stay put opposed to move to Buffalo.

CAA (Brisson and Barry) have the lionshare of NHL megastars, but with a fairly short client list, they also represent the GOAT Olof Lindbom. I truly wonder if they could even identify Olof if he was wearing a nametag.

I think the fans only have interest in guys like Tarasenko and Kane if they are coming at a discount salary wise. Thats really the main draw. I dont care how young or old a player is at this point if they can help the team win. We arent rebuilding. I am a Kakko/Lafreniere defender, but the excuses will run out for them at some point. The more good players we have, the more good players they will play with, regardless of what line they are on. You dont think Kane feeding passes to Lafreniere will help his development?

I think Drury has made it clear, based on the with rift with Gallant and the Peca/Muse hires that the continued development of the kids is a priority but it is going to happen organically within the team structure. Having 12 good NHL forwards on the roster for the first time since the rebuild began is fine with me.
