Kane sucked in his conn smythe playoff year?

After further review...I have no idea.

Look at 2013 here

Now look at 2013 here

@Leonardo87 what do you think of Fowler?

How has he looked as of late? for being on a terrible team.

It'd take a lot of player movement but he's possibly the type of defender we could use.

Underrated. Imo. Put up a career 48 points on a historically bad Ducks team, and was asked to play way over his head. He is a very good solid 2/3 D but should not be called upon to be your top shut down defender. Was asked to play way over his head the last season and a half.

If he was on our 2nd pairing would fit in very well here. He was the only D-player on the Ducks who could transition the puck well. He is not physical so he needs to be paired with someone who can play heavy, clear the crease, make big hits, and etc.

The issue with Fowler being moved, he has a 4 team trade list, loves it in Anaheim, and will be an important vet presence, when the Ducks D prospects start hitting the NHL in the next 1-2 years.

KAM Fox
Fowler Trouba
Lindgren Schneider

how do we get to this point? Great question.

How much does Panarin love Strome? j/k... Panarin is going to go on a tear here... or is it our tears?

Yeah, the Ducks likely don’t want anything to do with Panarin, especially now they are guaranteed a Top 3 pick in a very deep draft. Lol.

Fowler’s cap hit and NTC make it very difficult. Rangers being my primary team would love him here, wasting his prime years on a rebuilding Ducks team, but just don’t see how it could happen.

yeah, I was just throwing shit against hte wall...

watching Boston, realizing how much better they got with Lindholm.

Fowler is one of the only names that could theoretically be available and fill that need.

It’s funny about Fowler. He is like the Chris Kreider of the Ducks for me. Think he is under-appreciated, thought he would get the “C”, and some fans expected more out of these guys based on their draft year.

Patrick Kane sucked in the 2013 playoffs? He led a Cup winning team in scoring so he sucked?

Has Panarin ever had a playoff game like this?

Let's not forget this was in the middle of DPE 2.0. So numbers from that time can't really be compared to now.

I hope Mika turns it on and shuts all of you short term memory people down lol.
Mika is a two way player. His name has been mentioned as a possible Selke award winner. The Rangers pay him $8.5M for more than just goals and assists. OTOh, Panarin doesn't do anything other than pad his point totals during the regular season.

We can offload Panarin at say 9-10 mill, sign Tarasenko, Motte, and Mikkola and still save $. Also means we can keep Goodrow which is fine for a team looking to be harder to play against. Also gives us more flexibility going into Kakko, Lindgren, Schneider RFAs
