Panarin for Reinhart

Laffy Zibs Reinhart
Kreider Chytil Kakko
Othmann Trocheck Engvall
Motte Blueger Vesey

It's not pretty or sexy but maybe players can play to their roles.

If we all pray together and fast, Laffy, Chytil and Kakko can take major steps.

Fixing the D-group will be the tough task. The make up is terrible. Individually they are decent-great pieces.... As a group, no bueno.

Better hope the Panthers start losing because why else would they add a cancer like Panarin after they just rid themselves of another floating bum in Huberdeau

This guy is a damn good player, plays a position of need, and his contract is extremely reasonable. Plus he's a good skater, not just north south but more importantly he's agile, good on his edges, and has a high motor.

Vancouver was rumored to be buying him out this summer...

If he is bought out, he's #1 in my book to go hard after as a UFA

I would be intrigued by Pacioretty and Brown as guys who were injured for most of this season and may be looking for an opportunity to both compete and get on a scoring line. The Rangers should have scoring depth...

Jones needs to play, the team needs to be better in transition.

I would still be quietly shopping Lindgren. I don't want to see him moved, but if the price is right on pieces coming back, I'd consider it.

How the f does Florida afford Panarin?

If the Rangers are looking to add a veteran 4C after moving Goodrow, I would keep an eye on Lars Eller. He had a bad year by his standards for sure, but he's a valuable piece and he is pretty good on draws.

If Gallant is retained, I don’t think there’s any way Mike Kelly is. With the way we struggled to score and how inept the PP looked? No way.

Who would replace him? Any ideas? Brad Larsen? Travis Green?

Curious to see if Drury would fire Gerard Gallant’s staff but keep Gallant.
If that was to happen I’m equally curious to see if Gerard quits?

they are trying to get rid of Garland. I'm not giving them anything of that value.

then you're in luck, Goodrow and Schneider suck ass

I would never give up Laf for him, his production is almost the same but he's 5 years younger and probably half the cap hit

Garland is a fine player, would be an upgrade over goodrow but I’m not giving them cheap assets with potential. Van is in a cap crunch, give them goodrow (if he’s willing to go there) and a middling prospect with some potential. Or move goodrow wherever he’ll go and try to use those assets plus a 3rd for Garland. That or just hope he gets bought out like he’s been speculated to

they should have sat Panarin and Kreider down the second we won the lottery and said you two decide who plays right wing......

fast forward 2 years and people will be saying we should trade Othmann because he can't skate for a late 1st
I agree with the panarin kreider rw thing....it was dumb, imo it should be Kreider, he does very little 5 on 5 anyway, wouldn't have hurt him to move sides. Its also hilarious that when they move Panarin to the top line, Kreider all of a sudden can play RW. This basically shows what our team problem is, the coaches are allowing the players to make decisions for them, not to mention the GM going out and aquiring all of Panarin's buddies.

Not on planet earth

New pet project is memeing into existence a Schneider for Jack Quinn trade. Buffalo has enough offense and wants a RHD. Rangers need a RW with upside who's coming off a pretty good rookie season.
I'm game. Quinn looked dangerous every time he was on the ice when I watched him

It’s time for a change. Lafreniere doesn’t deserve to demand to play LW. He had to work all summer getting used to the right side and his skating.

Kreider - Zibanejad - Kakko
Panarin - Trocheck - Lafreniere
Cuylle - Chytil - Vesey
X - X -

Imo you start the season with Kakko in the top 6 rw, kreider moves to rw, Laf moves up add Laf to pp1, Kakko a staple on pk1 and leave it like that. Fill in the bottom six with Cullye and Berard. The main thing this team should have been doing was getting the kids going, we arent going anywhere without them.
