Mercer is on the Devils top PP unit and scored 10 points on the PP this yearHow did he score almost 60 points then? That seems impossible.
Otherwise he had 44 EV points compared to 35 for Lafreniere and 37 for Kakko

Nah, I disagree. Even with his pricetag and recent showings, there would be teams interested around the league for a top winger. But good luck convincing Panarin to waive his NMC. I don't think there's a single team aside from maybe Tampa or Florida that he would do so.Dawson Mercer's top four teammates regarding forwards are Hischier, Tatar, Haula and Hughes with Nico being the main guy.
32T podcast. The Rangers want Quenneville because of Panarin. What a joke. This f***ing Ruskie is running the team. Stop with the stupid posts. The Rangers aren’t trading his piece of shit. They can't. Nobody wants him. Apparently, there was a big argument after one game in the Devils series between the coaches and management. Jeff and Elliotte said the problems are bigger than the head coach. Jeff put the blame on Panarin.
Drury is gonna end up trying to sign Perry but we need someone that can still skate, although I'd take Perry just for his ability to be a real net pest as we had none of that this year. Donskoi or Connor Brown could be a better fit maybe? We need another Alpha-Reaves type that can play hockey.
This is still interesting, cause the usage suggests that Gallant clearly wanted to keep running Panarin, Kane, etc. out there to no success and making no adjustments at all. So would it then stand to reason that the Management was asking for the opposite? It doesn't add up that the usage and tactics of the current Coach were not to the Management's liking yet they want Q to satisfy a player that was already on the hot seat last year for poor playoff performance. It doesn't add up.Dawson Mercer's top four teammates regarding forwards are Hischier, Tatar, Haula and Hughes with Nico being the main guy.

Panarin’s performance is obviously concerning but the media blaming interest in Quenneville on Panarin is laughableDawson Mercer's top four teammates regarding forwards are Hischier, Tatar, Haula and Hughes with Nico being the main guy.

What would the return be if anything do you think?Been thinking a lot about this. There are going to be changes and one player I think may be an under the radar trade candidate is Braden Schneider.
Logic? Fox and Trouba are locked in on the right side for years to come. Those of you who pray for Trouba to get moved better pack a lunch. Schneider had an OK but not overwhelming year. Around the league, Schneider has a reputation that’s far above his value. He’s young enough to still have a lot of promise.
Yes there is a risk. There’s always risk but I see Schneider as a guy who could bring back a huge haul. I know a couple of teams were salivating over him last year.
I don’t think it’s at the top of Drury’s list but I think it could happen.

No. Garland is a good useful player but his contract is an albatross.Schneider to Vancouver (we know they love him) for Conor Garland. Garland is the exact type of fearless, quick playing 5v5 offense driver who plays around the net the team needs. I think he could be Fast on steroids on a Panarin line. Curious to hear your thoughts on Garland as a former Coyote. I love Schneider but he's in the same boat as Lafreniere in that he's blocked by 2 guys who are going nowhere.

10 points on the power play. Anyway, Mercer is only 21 he's not topping out as a 3rd liner, and neither is Laf.How did he score almost 60 points then? That seems impossible.
Yes please go Bleuger, Acciari, and Hathaway. These guys should be affordable and would improve the forecheck. Engvall and Rodrigues are good too but will cost too much.Blueger

$5M/year for 3 years for a 50ish point player is an "albatross"?No. Garland is a good useful player but his contract is an albatross.
I'm not sure if the Rangers will trade Schneider this year, since he still has an ELC year and could very much improve. But I could see the Rangers moving on from Goodrow to allocate that money to someone like Garland which brings speed and tenacity to the RW which we need.No. Garland is a good useful player but his contract is an albatross.
That's an interesting thought. I know Buffalo might be looking for a RD maybe we could swing Schneider for Quinn or Peterka.Schneider to Vancouver (we know they love him) for Conor Garland. Engvall would be a good pickup, he can fly, has some skill and is a good playdriver.Blueger

Isn’t then the problem who replaces schneider? He’s got one more elc year and we don’t have any rhd in the system I’d bring up.Been thinking a lot about this. There are going to be changes and one player I think may be an under the radar trade candidate is Braden Schneider.
