Plan A: go after Dubois/Scheifele in Winnipeg. Dump Goodrow. Maybe would have to flip Trocheck to make it happen. Trade panarin if there’s any chance in hell a team is interested

Plan B: Fire gallant, resign tarasenko if affordable. Roll it back with the same group minus Kane (unless Kane agrees to a sweetheart 1 year show me deal)

Plan A: go after Dubois/Scheifele in Winnipeg. Dump Goodrow. Maybe would have to flip Trocheck to make it happen. Trade panarin if there’s any chance in hell a team is interested

Plan B: Fire gallant, resign tarasenko if affordable. Roll it back with the same group minus Kane (unless Kane agrees to a sweetheart 1 year show me deal)

Yes we should definitely add more guys who got called out for no showing in the playoffs.

Dubois doubled Panarin's production in two less games and actually scored some goals.

But, yeah, Panarin going anywhere is really a pipe dream. Maybe Florida, but why would they want an 11.6M playoff anchor? Why would anyone?

Tarasenko had a good series, but I just feel that paying 1. rounder + rentals are never worth it. Feeling it is better to do a reverse Lundkvist, get a young prospect that are progressing well, or a younger player on a good contract a la TBL for atleast a full season instead of getting a top liner at the deadline. The cheaper rentals like Motte feels like they are worth it, but feels like every year many teams just pays a to high price.

What good would that do if the Rangers cant even scout and get the players this organization needs.

Why do we have so many headcases all the time? Tony D, Lias, Krav. Now we can add Laf and Miller to the list. Do we not interview them? Ask their friends or family about them? I mean, Laf legitimately looks like the least focused person I have ever seen.

At least Schneider seems to have his head screwed on straight. I think he can improve - he at least had an ok playoff outing.

Vince was on Sportsnet and said they could possibly tell Panarin the direction they're heading and see if he's willing to waive but he doesn't predict they'll trade Panarin, and still called him one of the greatest free agent signings in franchise history. Said to keep an eye on Goodrow. Said he thinks there's going to be conversations to be had about trading one of Lafreniere or Kakko to shake things up.

Goodrow has to go if they want space to do anything in the offseason. Not surprised about Panarin don't think he's going anywhere. Would trade Lafreniere before Kakko if only because one is a LW and one is a RW but Kakko I could actually see improving to the point he's a good top-6 forward.
