Looking at the practice lines it appears as though Kravtsov might be headed to Hartford and that Hajek has the leg up on Lindgren. Most of the lines look like what the season will start View attachment 257539 View attachment 257541
DQ specifically said that the lines from Game 4 were much more akin to what the opening night lineup would be than tonight and Saturday.
So, don't read too much into the lines for the last two games.
That Matt Tkachuk kid would sure look nice here.
Not too many teams would refuse his services, modern day power forward/goal scorer.
See to me Andersson is exactly what you want a fourth line center to be. I think he can add a lot of value there as he grows. Nasty kid to play against. Will get better on the Pk and can move up in the lineup when needed.
Trouba style.

Guy needs to be WAY more than a 4th line center for a 7th overall pick...
He's got middle 6 upside. Think Ryan Callahan but smarter... But he's not going to get there this year IMO. Give it one more season
A.k.a.: Hajek + Kreider + Chytil ?
That's a nice package especially if Kreider re-upped....
My best offer would be the budget version of that package.. Kreider, Lias, and Lindgren

I think there must be some sort of unspoken rule, no waiver claims before the season.Any interest in claiming Nick Paul or Kyle Wood?
Wood would make an interesting #7/#8 defenseman. RHD with size and a bit of skill.
There definitely is not.I think there must be some sort of unspoken rule, no waiver claims before the season.
Him and lemieux on the same teams would cause line brawls every gameThat Matt Tkachuk kid would sure look nice here.
Really... no offense, therein lies the issue, NO OFFENSE! lol...Guy needs to be WAY more than a 4th line center for a 7th overall pick...

I think it's hard for us to realize he probably could've been a late 2nd-4th round pick. However, there's nothing bad about a bottom-six player and, really throughout his SHL career, is what he seems to be at the NHL, probably a 3rd liner. To me, he hasn't seemed to so much as anticipate offensive plays like top-six prospects do right away. Chytil's an example. Not a difference-maker yet but he at least tries to get to the right spots. DeAngelo was the same way.
Guys like Fast are the other kind. He showed offensive awareness off the bat. Not enough skill, obviously.
