I think it's: guy who's pretty good but becomes the hive-mind's obligatory whipping boy. This sounds clever. But I'm not sure what it means.

I thought he played well, I don’t understand why this board is always so down on him.
Call me crazy but Filip Chytil looks Jagr like...big strong ,setting up players. It would not surprise me if he is the 2nd best Ranger in 3-5 years just behind Kakko. Also sell high on Pavel..he doesn't carry puck through neutral zone, lousy instincts and weak on the puck.
if Brett Howden is a future Brandon Sutter that is really disappointing.Howden reminds me a lot of Brandon Sutter. Which helps me understand his appeal to some (especially coaches) while reconciling it with his horrible results.
Maybe he'll score twenty goals one season too. Here's hoping.
Trade him for the future Jordan Staal thoif Brett Howden is a future Brandon Sutter that is really disappointing.
....Lias Andersson?Trade him for the future Jordan Staal tho
There’s absolutely no way Chytil is going to play in HartfordAndersson’s gonna get first crack at 2c the way it’s shaping up. Howden 3c. Chytil centering kravtsov in Hartford
We’ll seeThere’s absolutely no way Chytil is going to play in Hartford
Do you really believe they’re going to send down a guy who spent all season in the NHL last year and has only gotten better? We’ll see

Well, here’s the thing, training camp is only half over, and all three of them are making the team anywayI think andersson looks better this training camp than chytil and howden is locked in despite what people may think. Last year chytil got it and andersson went down I think if it’s fair and you got to be to andersson, he’s winning the spot over chytil. It’s fairly simple.
I think andersson and howden look better. I don’t think chytil can handle being an NhL 2C and I’m not sure if he is a center to be honest and I know he’s not suited for 4CDo you really believe they’re going to send down a guy who spent all season in the NHL last year and has only gotten better?
You see what Hayes did to him last night?? Come on manNo chance Chytil gets sent down unless he just really struggles so badly the next couple games. No he hasn't been a world beater but you can see him making strides in certain areas notably along the walls where he's been stronger on the puck.
That’s why I want to see chytil with Kreider and kakko for the next two and then andersson with them in the finaleWell, here’s the thing, training camp is only half over, and all three of them are making the team anyway
Namestnikov Andersson Fast
-would be my 4th line
I’ve liked Lemieux and Howden together in the past. I think Strome on the right does the job. I’d love for it to be Kravtsov eventually but right now it’s Gotta be Strome.
-That’s my 3rd line
So we’ll trade him for a Trouba?
Seems like the time to move one or two of Skjei/Hajek/Lindgren/Rykov is fast approaching, or else we lose them to Seattle for nothing. We are having a bit of a log-jam here and there is still always a risk non of the kids fill all of our potential needs.
In that scenario, I think many of these guys are pretty good trade chips. Chytil, Howden, Lias, Lemieux, Hajak and all the younger Ds. It’s way to early to point at who might be moved and what the need might be. But we could certainly get to that point eventually.
