I don’t understand where Kakko and Chytil fit if we’re still in on some of these guys without moving at least Chytil out.
Seems like this is going to be a significant day or nothing at all for the forward group
I could see this happening too.

Can you tell me why Gourde is the right player to be our 2C? And why he is a significantly better option than Copp?
I'm not convinced the Rangers aren't kicking the tires on keeping Strome.
He's averaging 60 points per 82 games with the Rangers. Anybody else doing that is going to be more expensive.
They're also convinced he has CHeMiStRy witH paNARIn which they're wrong about but they think it.

He got my 2nd pair to a +5 in Franchise Mode and we won the cup so based on that I’ll alllow itI always liked (or hated) Justin Braun. I think he’d be a great depth pick to give Schneider some support. Was just mentioned on TsN we’re in on him
Yes, it makes it all the more important that our third center does all the 5v5 things the other two don't, but it also gives us less money to play with while asking the player to be capable of more.Any scenario that involves keeping Strome makes it CRUCIAL that the 3C is a physical, dependable, defensive matchup center.
I think Goodrow can fill that role, but Goodrow-3C-Blais would be preferable.
Just seems like Vatrano was an important piece and the type I expected but if Kakko is back soon along with Rooney…..
Kreider Mika Laf
Panarin Strome Kakko
Goodrow Chytil Vatrano
Mckegg/Rooney/Reaves/Brodzinski/Barron/Gauthier
So I mean that top 9 doesn’t have a hole unless you’re ready to make one right?
FLA - Giroux/Duclair/Reinhart
TB - Kucherov/Cirelli/Hagel
BOS - Pastrnak/DeBrusk/C. Smith
TOR - Marner/Nylander/Kase
CAR - Svechnikov/Necas/Fast
PIT - Rust/Rodrigues/Kapanen
WSH - Wilson/Oshie/Hathaway
The top six has a major hole in it. The RW group is atrocious compared to the other eastern conference playoff teams.
The need to get it to at least something like the below and that is still weak at RW
Kreider Zibanejad Laf
Panarin Strome RW
Vatrano Chytil Kakko
Hunt Rooney Goodrow
McKegg/Reaves/Brodzinski to the bench
Ok Goodrow isn’t a 4th line player in the playoffs that’s not happening and neither is removing Reaves. Let’s deal in reality here. Gallant is not going to press box Reaves for the playoffs after what he’s done all year. Not a video game
Kevin Weekes with his head inside a washing machine with a detergent cap on his head at 1:37PM:"Breaking Trade news here..."HF at 12:45 PM: "The Rangers made a trade."
NHL Network at 6:38 PM: "We have breaking news..."
Well the reality is if they play Goodrow up the lineup and play Reaves then the depth is awful. Reaves was benched in the playoffs just last year. What has he done all year? The team has been outscored 24-14 with him on the ice.
Doesn’t Copp have concussion problems?Nils could 100% be a centerpiece for Garland (who is a great player who I've wanted here for a while.)
Sign me up for Garland+Copp.
Kreider-Zib-Laf
Panarin-Strome-Vatrano
Chytil-Goodrow-Kakko
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves
Is what I would trot out in the playoffs barring any further acquisitions. McKegg gets cycled in for Reaves once in a while.
He can but he'd be our best RW by far so.Can Garland play the left at all?
Resume...
I'm 90% sure that after the TDL the 23 man roster is lifted, and as long as they are cap compliant they can keep any amount of playersDon't we need to make some roster moves? Could we be waiving McKegg and/or Gauthier?
