yeah why is Chicago trading Hagel? he's 23 and has more goals than Kane this season.
Apparently everyone is available on Chicago except for Jones, Towes and Kane.

Chytil+ for Hagel
Another nice option would be Yamamoto from Edmonton...
Trading Rooney is borderline idiotic, he's been on of the consistently beat players on this team for two years. Trade geo, are you running Kincaid as the backup or using koskinen?who knows what Chicago wants. Chytil+?
Edmonton needs depth and a goalie. Chytil, Rooney, Georgiev etc.
A trade could be worked out
The mere idea of Hintz makes me sad. This is the kind of guy I want them to go unload some of these loaded bullets we've got.Imagine of Drury can pull of a heist of Zibanejad-like proportions and get a guy like Hintz...
Graphs? What are you on about?Unfortunately that isn't going to happen because the player doesn't want to be here. We need to let go of this fantasy of Kravtsov coming back.
What kind of example for your organization does it set when a prospect is told he needs a few weeks of conditioning to get back to the big club and he refuses to report, demands a trade, bolts to Russia and then comes back to a nice cozy first line spot with 20 mins a night waiting for him?
People need to understand that hockey is not all about graphs and plugging players into open roles. This team is trying to build an identity and a culture and that means nothing if you let a player who pissed in the face of that right back into the lineup like nothing happened.
Accountability is important and Kravtsov has shown very little of it. He may mature and still be a very good player in this league (I think he will) but both parties are best served moving on.
Go big or go home.
Miller fits the Coyotes timeline much better. Just sayin…
Absolutely zero interest in becoming an even worse skating team.
We have a glaring hole at the top line RW and we have a highly skilled, cost controlled prospect just waiting for us in the K. Plugging VK into Buch’s old spot next to Mika is so obvious that I don’t even want to type it.
Bring VK back. Trade surplus D for a speedy, 25ish yo 2 way center. Maybe upgrade Nemeth with someone decent and cheap.
Easier to make things work when you don't have to worry about the 16 million dollars worth of players you have on LTIR that need to get back on the roster. That team has been built like a Drunken Sailor. He's helped build an elite team in a minute. They have constantly made things work. People need to stop acting like Jason botterill is the gm there or something...

I have a hard time seeing Lundkvist being dragged around in the AHL or 7th defensemen for 2 years.
Panarin on the top line makes sense. Stick Laf with Strome and let them focus on getting a lot of offensive zone starts. Goodrow takes 3C and give him a 2 way winger that can control play/possession. Kakko was thriving with takeaways for most of the season, he could play on either 2nd or 3rd line.
Hajek playing tonight was interesting. Possibly a showcase to move for someone like Debrusk? Just like a show-me game. Debrusk is a fine reclamation project of someone who could play hard on the 4th line. I see him as a better Hunt.
I get the sense that we are hard after Chychrun. Chytil makes sense a piece going there.
It’s behind a paywall. Do you want to quote from it?Damn, Larry Brooks just killed the case for rentals with his most recent article.

Sometimes in situations like this, the player will agree to a one-way with term for less AAV than they’re currently making. That being said, DeBrusk likely to not get qualified and will be a UFA. Best to sign him then, if ever.Difference between Hunt and Debrusk is Hunt is signed for 1 more year at $760K while Debrusk is an arbitration eligible RFA this summer who's qualifying offer I believe is $3.7MM. Think that might be a bit too pricey with the Rangers cap situation next season and to possibly play him on the 4th line.
Are Eichel and Martinez on the roster yet? Shuffling your best players on and off IR isn't a recipe for success. And they keep making it work...

Basically saying no team in the Rangers position coming out of a rebuild and missing the playoffs for a number of years has ever won the cup, and that the most important thing is just to get in an get experience, so don't blow the cupboard out for this year. It’s behind a paywall. Do you want to quote from it?
I’m pretty much ready to see what a Kravtsov, Chytil , Jones , 1st will get
not necessarily all in 1 deal but I think Drury makes moves and likely a big one
Even better.Of course we would reacquire Bozo once Buch was off the team.
Does St. Louis have onion rings?
