do it.

Panarin Zibanejad Kreider
Lafreniere Strome Kakko
Gauthier Goodrow Smith
Hunt Rooney Barron/Reaves

Lindgren Fox
Chychrun Trouba
Miller Schneider
Jones/Hajek
Lol we are not trading for a guy that just punched Fox in the back of the head

I heard LA were interested in Kravtsov. I think Bill Armstrong has a type, and Kravtsov isn't really that. Rumors have it Drury offered Kravtsov to the Yotes as part of the Chychrun package, but if LA want to intercept that deal and get Kravtsov and a D from either the Rangers or from the Yotes things start to look different. That opens the possibility of a series of trades to get the pieces to fit for all three teams.

Which Kings center is available?

Yeah everyone has heard the same stuff, but the thing is that la's interest in kravtsov will almost assuredly be at a different level than their interest in a top pairing d who is actually playing in the NHL. If you were la, where is your priority, and are you willing to
Pass on the opportunity to land chychurn in order to get kravtsov and a secondary d prospect?

If la also wants chychrun they are going to take a run at him, not be a third team in a deal that sees the rangers land him. It would be like the rangers being a third team involved in the eichel trade.

The Kings have so many centers that maybe two of them are available.

I dunno, depends on what cheap means but LGK will need to shed salary quickly and not many teams on the buy side of the deadline can take on 5 mil free and clear. So it’s a move they have to make and we could be the only buyers, that will be cheap considering
There are teams looking to add, and I am just saying that if I am vegas I rather dump the 2 year deal for a player that doesnt really fit than the 1 year deal that is for the guy that org loves

I’m pretty much ready to see what a Kravtsov, Chytil , Jones , 1st will get

not necessarily all in 1 deal but I think Drury makes moves and likely a big one

Nils too.

I'd rather not move Jones but I think the writing is on the wall there unfortunately.
I think it depends on the players coming back. With Schneider looking like he’s going to stick, I could see Robertson being shopped and Jones kept. With that said if Jones/Robertson is the sticking point for the other team, I don’t see it holding us back from moving either if it’s someone we covet.

Strome is a known quantity. We're used to trading known quantities (Fast, Buch) away to our own detriment. With him tho, we're about to overpay for some sub-par quality.
OTOH, Bread's line could do with a bit of speed and strength.

Bread's been on 3 diff teams with 3 v. diff lines, no need to tie him to Strome as his one and only butter.
Not saying long term, but Chytil isn't centering him here while Strome is still a NYR.

I know the rangers probably prefer smith out of Vegas, but if I'm Vegas I am probably trying to unload dadanov right now. Would people have interest in him?

His hit is 5mil this year and next but he certainly would not cost nearly as much as Smith. In fact you might be able to pass him through a 3rd team for retention and have the knights pay for the retention just to get him off their books. Could become a very cheap mid 6 winger for nyr
His cap hit next year makes him a no go. And as much as people believe that Smith is going to be expensive, let's remember that the Knights NEED to move out an incredible amount of money and can't take any back, and other teams absolutely know that. Rangers are one of only a handful of teams that can easily take his full deal.

It's time to turn Chytil into a good young NHL player... as in package him and trade him
No, please god no. Get an established NHL player. I don't want to get another kid and watch him die on this team as well. Our track record is too awful recently to think that bringing in another young player is going to fix anything.
