Nah.

Until they are bounced from the playoffs due to their lack of fancy stats, I don't care

This seems a bit intentionally obtuse, though, no?

Like, we're going to make moves over warning signs, claiming we don't care, until the worst happens? Like, perhaps should have paid attention before?

i was under the impression Vegas can fit Eichel without Doing that
They can. They aren’t going to trade him this season. He’s too important. Patches going on LTIR for surgery gives them enough wiggle room
smith is a very important part of that team, on and off ice.
Smith-Karlsson-Jam has been their best most consistent line.
Smith plays a major part in that

Lundkvist + Kravstov + 2022 1st for Chychrun
Gauthier + 2022 4th for Lehkonen
Berard + 2022 2nd for Pavelski

Helps with 5v5 possession, faceoffs, adds defense and PK ability players, and Lehk is a RFA and Chych is on a great contract for a few years, which is mega valuable to this team

Kreider Zib Kakko
Panarin Strome Chytil
Laf Pavelski Lehkonen
Rooney Goodrow Reaves/Hunt

Figure out what D pairs work best, Nemeth benched as 7th and Schneider stays

Next year Nemeth or Lindgren can be dealt, maybe both for cap, Jones plays then
Pavelski walks obviously, Goodrow or Barron can move up
Chytil could potentially be traded and Blais slides in right there
I don't mean to single you out in particular but I'm not trading Berard anywhere, no less for a rental.

His stock has done nothing but gone up since he was drafted. He's the top 9 forward prospect with sandpaper and a scoring touch that this team has lacked since Sean Avery. He fills a need on this team moving forward.

Patches isn't going to remain on LTIR for surgery for long. He skated with the team in practice yesterday. They also said he might play next week.

The New York Rangers were forced to give up cup win after computer scientists determine their 4-0 series sweep over the Colorado Avalanche was likely a "Statistical outlier"

Hell yeah on the first 2 proposals but no to the 3rd. Berard is going to be an important part of this team in a few years. He can skate, score, and plays with an edge.

They’ll do something fishy. Or pay to move dadonov+ Jannmark 1st before trading smith.... imo at least.

Everyone is scrambling to see what trash they can trade Lundkvist for.
I’m kind of worried about the situation surrounding Lundkvist.
I think Schneider is up Permanently for the rest of this year + playoffs if he keeps playing how he has...
Say nils finishes the season in Hartford real strong, how long is it before he gets mad or doesn’t see a path fwd with NYR and bolts or asks for a trade?
That’s def not something I would want becoming public. I don’t see trouba waiving for at least 2 more seasons.......
Hagel is def not trash though.
If nils isn’t dealt by the TDL, I think he’s part of the package in a summer trade for sure

I mean, this is kinda the philosophy we should also have with Kravtsov, Chytil, Lundkvist, Schneider, Robertson, Othmann and Jones.

If we are making Berard untouchable, and I agree I'm in no rush to move him, then there's no rush with any of those names.

Berard is what you hope becomes what Goodrow is. A late find who can fill out your bottom 6, contribute and take a regular shift 5v5 and PK, all while doing so on an ELC and then a reasonable second deal. I'd only include him in a deal for a serious player.

He's not ever going to do that. We have his rights even if his contract expires and will not let him go for nothing.

If push came to shove Nemeth should be buried before we let Nils get upset, but there's no indication that will happen.

If Nils is dealt it should be for a young, long term top 6 forward, preferably a center, not a middle six 24 year old winger.

i could get behind a Lundkvist for Dach deal as principle components as well....
No one really saw the Kravtsov situation happening either. But it did.
If your nils, you want to play. In your mind, you’ve played pretty good for 30 games or so, and have gotten better.
Now, you find yourself 4 th on the depth chart and it could be a minimum 2 more years before that changes....
I wouldn’t be so sure he’s all smiles atm.
Gallant literally said, we’re playing with the guys we’ve had all year long, not interested in inserting prospects....etc blah blah blah...
As nils watches Schneider takes over his job.

granted o think Lundkvist has a better head between his shoulders then krav. But at a point, he’s going see what’s in front of him, how he’s played against men overseas, how he played in the nhl. And he’s going to want a change.

I think the Kravtsov situation was absolutely foreseeable, in that it happened once already and the team had ample warnings he was not happy, yet played with fire and basically dared him to leave again.

Plus, yes, as has been said many times, Kravtsov is himself also to blame, and I don't think Nils is the same personality.

Of course if it did happen again, we should burn the front office to the ground for their idiocy.

But you can't just find the quickest deal for a top prospect because you are scared they won't be happy. That's losing value.

Offensive, puck moving RD is probably the most valuable commodity in the league after Center. Brannstrom brought back Mark Stone.

Lundkvist can bring back a ton by himself. Not Brandon fricking Hagel.
