You should care.
Nah.
Until they are bounced from the playoffs due to their lack of fancy stats, I don't care

They still thing of themselves as players because of Kane and Toews and Jones contracts.
I don't think that works unless he's signed to an extension.Strome for Dach.

They can. They aren’t going to trade him this season. He’s too important. Patches going on LTIR for surgery gives them enough wiggle roomi was under the impression Vegas can fit Eichel without Doing that
I don't mean to single you out in particular but I'm not trading Berard anywhere, no less for a rental.Lundkvist + Kravstov + 2022 1st for Chychrun
Gauthier + 2022 4th for Lehkonen
Berard + 2022 2nd for Pavelski
Helps with 5v5 possession, faceoffs, adds defense and PK ability players, and Lehk is a RFA and Chych is on a great contract for a few years, which is mega valuable to this team
Kreider Zib Kakko
Panarin Strome Chytil
Laf Pavelski Lehkonen
Rooney Goodrow Reaves/Hunt
Figure out what D pairs work best, Nemeth benched as 7th and Schneider stays
Next year Nemeth or Lindgren can be dealt, maybe both for cap, Jones plays then
Pavelski walks obviously, Goodrow or Barron can move up
Chytil could potentially be traded and Blais slides in right there
NHL Rumor Mill – January 21, 2022 | Spectors HockeyThat should also be a decision that should involve the new general manager. Otherwise, team president Jim Rutherford shouldn’t waste everyone’s time hiring a GM if he’s going to make all the decisions himself.
Hagel > LundkvistEveryone is scrambling to see what trash they can trade Lundkvist for.

smith is a very important part of that team, on and off ice.
Smith-Karlsson-Jam has been their best most consistent line.
Smith plays a major part in that

They’ll do something fishy. Or pay to move dadonov+ Jannmark 1st before trading smith.... imo at least.Patches isn't going to remain on LTIR for surgery for long. He skated with the team in practice yesterday. They also said he might play next week.
Hagel > Lundkvist
I’m kind of worried about the situation surrounding Lundkvist.Everyone is scrambling to see what trash they can trade Lundkvist for.
I don't mean to single you out in particular but I'm not trading Berard anywhere, no less for a rental.
His stock has done nothing but gone up since he was drafted. He's the top 9 forward prospect with sandpaper and a scoring touch that this team has lacked since Sean Avery. He fills a need on this team moving forward.
They’re already trying to unload one Strome.Strome for Dach.
Berard is what you hope becomes what Goodrow is. A late find who can fill out your bottom 6, contribute and take a regular shift 5v5 and PK, all while doing so on an ELC and then a reasonable second deal. I'd only include him in a deal for a serious player.I don't mean to single you out in particular but I'm not trading Berard anywhere, no less for a rental.

I think Schneider is up Permanently for the rest of this year + playoffs if he keeps playing how he has...
Say nils finishes the season in Hartford real strong, how long is it before he gets mad or doesn’t see a path fwd with NYR and bolts or asks for a trade?
That’s def not something I would want becoming public. I don’t see trouba waiving for at least 2 more seasons.......
Hagel is def not trash though.
If nils isn’t dealt by the TDL, I think he’s part of the package in a summer trade for sure
They’re already trying to unload one Strome.
You shouldn't be.
He's not ever going to do that. We have his rights even if his contract expires and will not let him go for nothing.
If Nils is dealt it should be for a young, long term top 6 forward, preferably a center, not a middle six 24 year old winger.

The New York Rangers were forced to give up cup win after computer scientists determine their 4-0 series sweep over the Colorado Avalanche was likely a "Statistical outlier"
A spokesperson for the organization was quoted as saying "The Rangers clearly lost each of the four games, the shot totals were in favor of the other team by a solid margin in each contest"
i could get behind a Lundkvist for Dach deal as principle components as well....
No one really saw the Kravtsov situation happening either. But it did.
If your nils, you want to play. In your mind, you’ve played pretty good for 30 games or so, and have gotten better.
Now, you find yourself 4 th on the depth chart and it could be a minimum 2 more years before that changes....
I wouldn’t be so sure he’s all smiles atm
