Nils must be disappointed, but this is without a doubt the right move for him.

Nils needs time in Hartford. He needs to play big minutes.

Nils’ game had been getting better before the series of scratches, and I think a nice stretch of being HFD’s #1d and getting a lot of powerplay minutes will be good for him

I thought Nils looked fine all things considered. He scored his first, got covid, played 1 game after clearing and looked fine and then got healthy scratched for worse defenseman?

Idk, happy to see Schneider and Jones get their chances. Don't mind Nils getting sent down, it just seems.... weird? Hopefully he can feast on the PP and play a ton of minutes to fine tune his NA game.

I have loved Schneider since the draft he’s done nothing but get better and better. And he’s actually built like an adult man. Looking forward to seeing what he can do even if it does seem early.

Expecting Nemeth Schneider to be thst third pair see if they can bring some stability.

I saw some guy on the Rangers reddit post that he sat in the press box next to Lundkvist last night (separated by plexiglass) and that Nils was on his phone looking SHL stuff all game

It’s probably nothing but would be hilarious if he bolts back to Sweden (which I don’t think he has a EAC)

I’ve said that plenty. Everything he does is high level. Love him. But he’s going to have to wait his turn now after that nightmare of a game the other night. Nemeth will get to play next to Schneider first

He seemed to be improving but definitely hope we get to see Schneider actually play some games and not just sit in the press box. It's obvious the rangers coaches or front office or both are very concerned with size on the back end. I'm not sure I see Nils or Jones hanging around for too long.

If by better you mean he went from having absolutely no business being in the nhl to basically having no business being in the nhl than yah he did improve a bit.
