hARry kane comeS homE
So, when Strome is due to be paid (soon), what it will be like? We couldn't afford Buch who's on 5.8 now, how do we handle Strome? Will he fit?
He’s probably going to get at minimum 6 per a year unless he cuts us a break and we offer him more years for a lower salarySo, when Strome is due to be paid (soon), what it will be like? We couldn't afford Buch who's on 5.8 now, how do we handle Strome? Will he fit?
He needs starts to not suck. He's not going to get them unless Shesty is injured. Plus, he wants to go somewhere he can be a starter.
Edit: Halak's numbers aren't garbage either.
One of our prospects needs to step up.Alex will I would think be moved in the summer. Halak will be 37 next year. Neither one is more than a one year solution to the backup goalie issue.
I don’t like what I see until we get to Garand and Boyko. We’re gonna need like 3 years of cheap back up coverage to close that gapOne of our prospects needs to step up.
Kane is a LW which they don’t need and if they won last night they would have the most points in the league
No Panic yet lol

Kane can play center and was drafted as a center. He has center experience. He isn't just a winger.
The LAK game, for the umpteenth time, drove home the point that Panarin and Strome must have a defensively reliable RW to help cover the defensive frailties of P & S (especially when both are in floaty mode). Even then the duo is not ideal against hardworking teams that take away space and time.

Miller f***ing up in back to back games leading to goals against, and then the Tinordi-Nemeth pairing being stuck behind their own net
What a start to the 2nd period.
Neither are severe enough. Evidently.Bench or send to Hartford?
They've been bad the past two years once the playoff/bubble teams buckle down on defense towards the end of the season. I don't see why it would change now. This team has an ugly problem of just standing around hoping Panarin can thread a pass through multiple players and that gets harder to do as the season progresses and the teams start to play better defense. That's the only form of offense our top two lines have and unfortunately there is only one Panarin. So one line is playing Panarin hockey with no Panarin. Luckily, we've gotten enough points to at least see what these two duos can do in the playoffs. It will be a good assessment period for the front office. So, basically, will be bad in the playoffs vs anyone?
Not sure that's enough...
