Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Maybe Strome actually develops value once he's under contract long term.

I just don't see Gallant breaking up the married couples.
Either Laffy moves to the Right with Panarin or Kreider moves to the Right to make room for Laffy.
Put your top6 players in the top6. I know it's an alien concept for the New York Rangers
Give Goodrow some help on the 3rd line.... Replacing Chytil with a Gourde type is a good start. Giving Barron a shot is another. Chytils time at Center needs to be suspended indefinitely until further notice

But Lafreniere has 8 goals 5 on 5 playing on a lower line and less minutes.
I'm not saying Kreider isn't producing but his major value is PP time.
And I'm saying breaking up the kid line - and putting Lafreniere with someone who can feed him and build his confidence - may increase his own production, and Kreider may be able to help Chytil because clearly Laf and him aren't mixing. It may be better all around.
Frankly at 5 on 5 the Kreider - Zibanejad pairing just isn't great. It's ok, but it's not some amazing top line. You know what might be amazing and unstoppable? Panarin-Zibanejad.
There's just no real reason not to try Kreider elsewhere.

I don't see him doing it either but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.
But if we have to keep Kreider in the top 6 then he should be on the right wing. Sorry Chris. All you do is tip in goals anyway, it's not like we are going to lose his natural playmaking excellence if he's feeling uncomfortable on the opposite wall. Just park his ass down low like he always is.

Especially since we kinda have a huge hole at RW both now and in the future. Move him there and trade Kravtsov with some other pieces for a center prospect?

Clearly we need an upgrade on Chytil. Invisible every night. Hertl/Pavelski/Giroux should all be targets

Would anybody be interested in Haydn Fleury from Seattle? Liked what I saw of him. He’s not a #2 defenseman but I see him getting better.
Nope. 25 years old. He isn’t much better than what we have already. In fact I would rather roll with Hajek or Jones on the left side if we wanted to keep Nemeth in the press box, while rotating Lundkvist back in. All younger players.
The allocation of minutes does not make sense with Panarin playing with Chytil and Gauthier. Get serious. This isn't fantasy land. You actually have to utilize the lines once you put them on the piece of paper.

Staple name checked Giordano and Soucy from Seattle in The Athletic today. Calvin de Haan (CHI) as well.
Doesn’t think CBJ or MTL want to deal with the Rangers so probably takes them out of Gavrikov and Chiarot respectively who could have been targets as well

Poor business decision by JD and Gorton. You take the best deal that is presented, especially when your respective teams need a rebuild. On top of that, they have a familiarity with the prospect pool here and should have a good understanding of what players they would like to target. They should not be so salty about getting fired for sitting on their hands all 2020 offseason instead of improving or attempting to improve the team makeup as Drury has done this past offseason.

Yeah. Strome re-signing, now that it’s 2022, probably gets announced next Monday. Or soon, at least.
his time is all but up as a ranger. I wish him well and he still has. Potential but he may need a trade just to benefit his career himself. For whatever reason, he can’t put it together consistently here. Anyone arguing otherwise is just blind loyalty at this point.
Not that everything he does is bad, or that he hasn’t made strides in some areas. But overall his progress he is stalled.
He might need to be traded as a wake up call or kick in the ass for him.
As far as NYR, he’s just not a good 3C for this system.
I hope he lands on a team that will give him a larger role and deal with some of the mistakes he’ll make if he ever takes the next step in his progression.
He’s just not going to get the minutes, responsibility, or line mates in terms of him being successful long term.
