But we've been spoiled at Goaltender, which I would argue more closely correlates with a QB in the NFL.

Your centers are the head of your offense the way the QB is. A good C makes his wingers better they way a good QB does his WRs.

I’ve heard the ask is massive, but that doesn’t mean opponents are running away. He’s signed for three more years at a very reasonable $4.6 million AAV and is a terrific

to try to swing a C or a high pick to get one.

you generally want as many good players as possible. Also Trouba’s cap hit is almost double what Chychrun’s is so it’s not breaking the bank either. Also allows another D to get dealt

Arizona is a dumpster fire. It’s not like Lafreniere is lighting it up either but we know that Chychrun can excel.

Ironically, the best NFL parallel for a goalie might be the (OL) Center. They anchor the group that gives the QB the opportunity to win the game.

Not a lot I wouldn't give up for Chychrun. Am I crazy to think Miller + Chytil + Cuylle+ 1st gets it done?

Hilarious that we had a 1OA,2OA,7OA,9OA, 21OA,22OA,28OA and ended up with Laf, Kakko, Anderson, Kravstov, Chytil, Kam and Nils. Pretty uninspiring.

We have other pieces to trade for him, we dont have to offer our best forward prospect, we appear to have too many dmen so maybe make the deal around those players.
