If this was Hunt being out, then it would make sense.

Its a cheap bit of insurance that costs us nothing prospect or trade wise, imo Reaves isn't 100% either so if he goes down it doesnt hurt to have a guy like Clifford who while he isn't a heavyweight, he isnt scared to drop the gloves. Id prefer him over Mckegg

Laf dislikes the right clearly, and Kreider is on a new level of hot streak and you don’t mess with that.

Kreider has been the Rangers most consistent scorer, and the team should want to move him to the right wing where he is less comfortable?

At some point, yes that should be tried. But why don't we see if they can get Laf playing well consistently before sliding him all over the place. Having 3 scoring lines is a GOOD THING.

Kreider-Zib-Kaako
Panarin-Strome-Goodrow
Lafreniere-Chytil-Gauthier
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves

I liked what I saw from Goodrow with Panarin and Strome

I get putting Goodrow with Zibs and Kreider. for that purpose. It gives you a decent 'matchup' line.

Off the top of my head, most of Kreiders goals come from the right side. IMO he's better at his offwing

Agree but I don’t think he’s ever going to put it together and become anything more at this point. He just doesn’t have the hands or IQ

IQ i agree is questionable. I think he has the hands though. I think he is really starting to understand his strengths at this level and how he can get around defenders. Think with each rush he is going to gain more and more confidence.
