Chytil should go back to his 3C role, hopefully Goodrow is on his wing and not back on the 1st line.

I like Goodrow a lot but he doesn't work on the Mika line.

Hoping to see these lines tonight:

Lafreniere-Mika-Kreider
Panarin-Strome-Kakko
Goodrow-Chytil-Gauthier
Hunt-Rooney-Reaves

Either that or try Gauthier with Kreider and Mika. Goodrow back on that line should be option 3.

im still annoyed we ever traded him. I hated him being traded then and hate it more now.
Meh, I'm very skeptical of thinking that JT Miller becomes the player he is without being traded twice.

I don't like him as throw-in in that trade either, but I think being traded unexpectedly to Tampa and then being traded unexpectedly again a year later really motivated him to grow up and commit to being the best player he can be.

I'd love to see Barron called up and given a shot with more minutes up here in the top 6. The guy has consistently performed well in Hartford and has earned a legitimate look. He's also approached his demotions with maturity, which speaks volumes. Big, talented player.

He couldn't score on an open net. He has chance after chance. All those breakaways and nothing. When he has the puck I know that nothing will happen with him having it

This is true, he has trouble finishing. He has also created chances and has made some good plays that have lead to sustained pressure, and there is that speed thing which we need. We don't have a lot of options at RW so he is going to play.

Chytil, Kravtsov, Lundkvist and one of Robertson/Cuylle
for
Pettersson w/ $2M retained.

Is that fair value?
f*** it. Make it a blockbuster with Vancouver.

Chytil, Lundkvist, Kravtsov, Robertson, Strome (for cap purposes), and 2022 1st for Petterson and Conor Garland.

i think he would. He was putting more points each year. You could see the skill oozing from him.

trading him pissed me off more than Mcdonagh

Miller said it himself that the second trade was a huge wake up call for him

Expecting to see

Kreider Zib Goodrow
Panarin Strome Kakko
Laf Chytil Gauthier
Hunt Rooney Reaves

Would be interested in

Kreider Zib Chytil
Panarin Hertl Strome
Laf Goodrow Kakko

Strome is a right handed shot

thats true. But he always had the skill and was a 20 goals scorer already in b2b season for us. Its just his defense and attitude that needed adjustment.

who knows, maybe quinn would have helped him… ok im joking there, quinn would have ruined him lol.

I really hope that two of Cuylle, Berard, or Othmann can fit into two of the middle six RW spots within the next two years.

There's Kakko, Gauthier, and nothing else intermediate or long term. Is Gurianov out of Dallas available? He's basically Pavel Buchnevich but two years behind him on the development curve. He may be an interesting player to invest in for the next 3 to 4 years while we see how our wing prospects develop.

As above, Garland would be a heist. Is Vancouver looking to shake things up and retool? The Rangers can send them a very nice package of young players for Garland and Pettersson. The upside on the latter is tantalizing, but is he really the play driver up the middle this team needs? I'm not so sure.

Garland is my target from Vancouver if Vancouver would already listen on him.

Vancouver isn't trading Pettersson
