Surprised you don't like Frederick. What turned you off on him?

Kinda reminds me of a young Tom Wilson in his style of play.

I started digging into him more last year when the McDonagh to Boston rumors were flying around and within a month I had gone from "he's intriguing" to "meh." I think he's still the same guy he was after his D+1 season. Not to say he isn't a decent prospect, but I see him more as a Colton Sissons than a Tom Wilson. Useful player but I'd roll the dice on upside if I had the opportunity to.

Jets could work pretty good for Zucc, but only as a rental ;)

Paul Maurice coached him in Russia, so they know each other well.

I guess I never quite put much faith in any of the rumors or rumor mongers, even the more main stream guys I think are just deducing/educated guessing more often than not. The out of the blue stuff is almost never predicted.

Well things can change in an instant as we know. Even people with the best info will get this wrong.

But yeah there are maybe Three or four guys worth listening to, and maybe two of those guys get consistent information.

There are really only two ways "insiders" can go with their information.

A. Post every little thing they hear. This will result in them being "wrong" often and having a bad reputation even if everything they post is true.

B. Only post things that are very close to happening. This will make them seem extremely reputable when in reality they are just being ultra conservative.

This is the case even with two people who have exactly identical information.

I have to think most organizations keep everything pretty closely guarded, partially because they do not want to be accused of tampering, partially because why are the higher ups talking about this stuff with anyone outside their circle?

If anything I'm sure agents talk, they probably run in the same circles somewhat, yet they'd be playing a dangerous game by leaking out stuff.

Short of some sort of leak that team wants out, or someone pulling some sort of spy espionage stuff I'm not even sure the players know exactly what the GMs are up to. I'm sure they have a better handle on it than those outsiders, yet unless they have to be asked to waive a clause or something I'm thinking they are not really privy to much.

I mean, even Boomer has like a 50% reliability track record. But there are also a lot of weirdos out there who like playing Oracle of Delphi for the attention.

He was wrong in his first tweet and tried to salvage his ego in that second tweet.
