If Gorton does this, I'd want to make sure he makes his other moves ahead of Feb 25. Get the other fluff out of the way, and focus the majority of your attention trying to get the best deal for Hayes.I'd be surprised if there weren't a number of teams sniffing around Hayes and hoping Gorton's price comes down. That's not really the sort of deal that gets done weeks ahead of the deadline. That's a deal that comes down to the wire with a call for best and final 15 minutes before the bell goes off.
I think if the Rangers make a deal ahead of the deadline it'll be a minor one.
Drury is scouting the game.
Briere runs the ECHL team in Maine. The Rangers supply them with players.
Except for that rumor that he and Bobrovsky are interested in FLAOn Monday, Panarin's agent Daniel Milstein put out a statement: "We have informed the team that we are willing to discuss Artemi's future after the season. Our priority now is to focus on the rest of the season, trying to win a Stanley Cup for the CBJ & their fans. No additional comments will be made."
He’ll be in a Rangers sweater next year.
Rumor is Panarin wants to play in a big city...Except for that rumor that he and Bobrovsky are interested in FLA
Miami is a big city...Rumor is Panarin wants to play in a big city...
So naturally Florida is the assumed place he would choose...
Haha its a fun city thats for sure.Miami is a big city...
I feel we were all about as sure of Kovalchuk coming here about a year agoRumor is Panarin wants to play in a big city...

He wanted term Gorton wouldn’t give, but either way I’m glad he’s not hereI feel we were all about as sure of Kovalchuk coming here about a year ago

Yeah that sounds pretty sweet actuallyWould anyone be cool with Hayes to BOS for Studnika, JKF, and a conditional 2nd that turns into a 1st if the Bruins make the ECF?
I would want the first guaranteed as there would be a conflict of interest between our Tampa second and Boston's second as its highly likely they meet in the second round. Also, I'd like to somehow get Slepets from them, I like what I saw at the world JuniorsWould anyone be cool with Hayes to BOS for Studnika, JKF, and a conditional 2nd that turns into a 1st if the Bruins make the ECF?

I hope so. I could see him going back to Chicago though. On Monday, Panarin's agent Daniel Milstein put out a statement: "We have informed the team that we are willing to discuss Artemi's future after the season. I get the strategy but I’m worried that given the relatively small number of teams that I see as being big time buyers, some of them may fill their needs elsewhere.I'd be surprised if there weren't a number of teams sniffing around Hayes and hoping Gorton's price comes down. Slepets is draft eligible thus year. Had a great WJC. Just a machine on the PK to boot.
The team that gave him away? I doubt it. Even when the trade was made people thought he was being undervalued. I’m sure that smarted a bit. Anything’s possible of course.I hope so. I could see him going back to Chicago though.
