There's no take...it's just what his numbers are. They are bad. There is no way to defend them. He wasn't good in October but had a bunch of flukey points. He's been one of the worst forwards in the league since then. Why is he a 20 year old who made the jump from junior directly to the NHL? Let him play big minutes with PP time in the AHL.

Zucc & Zib = tons of chemistry. Trading them together could generate a huge return...

A lot of players drafted in the 5-10 range aren't NHL ready in their D+2 season. It's not really something I worry about at the moment. Let's see how he does in September

Its nothing to worry about if you stay on top of it. Zucc being surrounded by team doctors and medical professionals almost 24/7 makes me think there is nothing to worry about.

Yeah, Klefbom had gotten a steph infection a couple of seasons ago. He had to get a special skate ordered for him to play after he recovered.

One of the worst forwards how? What exactly is a bunch of flukey points? I think using advanced metrics to determine where he should be playing at this stage of his career, while also considering where the team is, is not best for his development.

If Zucc is out, I like the idea of trying Howden with Zib and CK. Move him out of the middle and let him simplify his game.

I saw yesterday that Howden was skating on the wing on a line with Kreider and Zibanejad at practice. He was presumably filling in for Zucc. Now that we know Zucc is out tomorrow might we actually see that line and not a reunion of the KZB line?
Same. Something needs to be done.
I see a lot of posts talking about how Howden has simply hit the rookie wall. That may be true, but he's been virtually invisible for almost 3 months now. Can't just let a 20 year old developing player languish like that, so I like changing the status quo.
