Unless they make some moves, Barron is the only waiver exempt forward out of Hunt, Rooney, Reaves, and that would leave them with 13 of those who we can assume make the team.

Should nothing change, no injuries, Hunt proves good, Gauthier is probably being waived, and Barron sent down.

Yep...Barron seems Hartford bound which is probably fine, get him minutes and ready for a callup. Opportunities will present themselves.

And haven’t they announced any rookie games to replace Traverse?

I'm positive I heard from some beat writer that the Rangers have some kind of rookie camp planned before training camp but not sure if they're going to do a full tournament

I'll never forget the 50-something year old Ranger fan I met and talked to for an entire intermission, he told me Jimmy Vesey will be a 50 goal scorer some day. (this was in 18-19 when he was already an established bust)
Rattled that his 20-point season streak got snapped this year.

The Eichel thread on the main board is even more of a disaster than it has been previously, somehow

There are some Buffalo fans in the full blown psychosis stage of denial, whichever stage that is

Lindgren scored 15 points as well.

Brodzinski scored at a nice pace, too.

Looks like they included a female team.

The point total in itself is meaningless of course. But I like the fact that he is getting involved and playing that style where he sees no limits.

Honestly, people that are somewhat divided on K’Andre after his rookie year should seriously reconsider. It took Vic Hedman almost 5 years to establish himself.

Hedman was just scoring a point every third game and coughing up pucks, missing defensive assignments and what not. I remember reading so many posts saying more or less ‘Hedman is so overrated, he is going to bust’ several years into his NHL career.

Quinn certainly didn’t handcuff his Ds and obviously encouraged them to take risks. That was great. But we were a mess defensively for long stretches and hardly provided these guys with a lot of support. It wasn’t particularly easy to play D for us. That is just my point.

I definitely think that Miller has all the potential to become a Norris trophy winning D. Heck I would even say that he is on track to get up there in the top 5-10 in the league. I think that is a perfectly reasonable statement. But like Hedman, he — must — be afforded those 3-4 years to grow and settle into the league.

Technically if this drags on into the season could Eichel "retire"? Perhaps sit out a year, get the surgery he wants and fully recovers and then sign with the team of his choice in 2022-2023.

If they can’t add a new C does Drury take a cap dump with a pick for a year ?

Isles are screwed on the cap hence not signing their guys yet officially . Gotta dump Komorov w a 2nd likely for example

I don’t think with all the question marks that he’d want to gamble with his career earnings that way.

Thats 30 mil after taxes

What do you mean, you don't think that Eichel is going to return Lafreniere, Miller, Kakko AND Fox and a 1st rounder?

If you think it's bad, you can always hold Tw@tter's beer

Wow. That's honestly just sad.

Koskinen makes the most sense from an asset POV. Especially if Edmonton is interested in Georgiev anyways

Im a Lagavulin man, myself.
Lagavulin is great as well. Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Ardbeg and the 3 I usually come back to. I haven't had Lagavulin in a while though, I might pick up a bottle on my way home from work today.

A friend of mine had the Nick Offerman special edition 8 yr old, it was actually pretty good. Not as good as the regular but it was legit, usually celebrity editions of stuff aren't really any good but this was actually good.

I recently bought the Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10yr Heavy Peat and it did not disappoint.

Ohhh I might have to pick this up.

No, that's not possible. If he "retires" and comes back, he can only come back as a free agent if all teams approve. And even then, I doubt the NHL allows him to just be a free agent. There will be potentially some sort of re-entry waiver process.
