Nils looking absolutely massive here

Pretty easy for a 12 year old to look massive when surrounded by 6 year olds

If I lived in Buffalo and I were a Sabres fan...

I'd go outside since its August and enjoy my life.

I wouldn't care... AT ALL about a billboard, of any kind.

Yeah but then how else would you find out about the $5 all you can eat lunch buffet at the Boobie Bungalow Gentleman's Club?!?!

Hello Rangers fans! Feel free to flame me on this one. I’m the intruder, here!

I read somewhere that Alexander Georgiev may be hoping to find a new team where he can have a better shot at being a starter. The Coyotes sure need a goaltender that’s at least an upgrade on Carter Hutton. So it seems like maybe a fit, perhaps.

Meanwhile Kessel wants out of Arizona and a shot at making the playoffs again. He doesn’t exactly fit the profile of what the Rangers have been adding under Drury, but maybe that makes it sensible afterall. It seems a bit of skill has been sacrificed for a bit of toughness. Maybe Phil can balance that out a little, while helping on the PP?

Arizona has one retention slot left, and can retain Kessel’s deal all the way down to 3.4aav for this season. Does Georgiev for Phil at 3.4aav appeal to anyone around here?

Oh, and Arizona would probably have to add Josef Korenar to make it work from an organizational depth standpoint.

What do you think?
If we could get a 2nd for Georgiev I’d do it. Kessel or no Kessel. But I think Arizona should be able to get something for Kessel at the deadline. Maybe even without retention. It’s just one season left on his deal.

Don’t think Arizona will be too bothered by retaining 50% on Kessel. It’s only 500K in real dollars.

The BSB guys are kinda...Reddit-as-a-pejorative sometimes? But I appreciate it when people just try to have fun with it all. It's the same way I feel about Steve Dangle. "Serious" hockey media has a stick up its ass.
I like dangle, i dont like bsb. I use reddit and I can see why you're saying BSB = reddit.

Blais at center over Goodrow..? I just don’t see it man.

Edit: Blais at center over Goodrow and Barron?

Meh...... Blais is not a center. In any way.

The way I wrote it was confusing. Didn’t mean Blais at center, meant one of Goodrow or Barron at center. Depending on which one is center, Blais would either play on the right or left wing.

why did he refer to NJ as one anyway

I remember hearing some story that the quote was taken out of context. Supposedly Gretzky knew the coach of NJ and/or some ex teammate was on the team and they were getting trashed for them taking a big beating and having a poor start to the season. So Gretzky was more like saying ‘stop blaming them, get them some better players to play with’ or something along that line.

Does a Strome @ 50% for Pavelski trade make sense? Gets Dallas cap compliant. Pavelski checks a lot of boxes for us. Coming off an overall great year in Dallas

Faksa is a curious player as well... His numbers have been horrendous since he was put with Cogliano and Comeau... maybe different linemates can help
