I had no idea it was that serious. Hopefully someone is reminding him to eat food every day.
I remember last year where there was a possible trade for Zucc that wasn't done because the McD / Miller trade was on the burner. If that is incorrect then fine.My bet is he’ll wait to the last minute to hold out for a desperate gm.
The hockey version of the revenge diet. With Zucc's energy, and 6 points in the last 3 games, it seems like he's eating well...
Amen brother.I remember last year where there was a possible trade for Zucc that wasn't done because the McD / Miller trade was on the burner. If that is incorrect then fine.
But I would think that moreso this time around that it would behoove Gorts to not leave everything to the last second since we have more parts to unload this year. Especially if Kreider is indeed one of them.
But I digress.
With Zucc's energy, and 6 points in the last 3 games, it seems like he's eating well...
If Carolina is still aiming big, I’d try to do something around Mika for Necas+
I can't wait until he's gone and you start posting elsewhere. It will truly be a delight.
I thought they viewed Necas as untouchableIf Carolina is still aiming big, I’d try to do something around Mika for Necas+

He’s at least a real Rangers fan.Yeah like your posts are such a treat to read.......
I know it is not. I wasn't really using Hayes or NY or FL as specific timely examples... just saying there are obvious reasons any player would contemplate any city... for example if you have young children I wouldn't want to be anywhere near FL in terms of schools... even the fancier ones they would attend.
My overall point was rebuilding teams should never expend assets for a UFA to be. It makes zero sense.
If they're run by HF GMs, they're already in paradise. Perpetual rebuild with a handful of awesome young guys and the prospect of EVEN MOAR young studs on the horizon. Why ever leave?Florida has been rebuilding forever. At some point, they need to start looking to win.
I'd start next year.Florida has been rebuilding forever. At some point, they need to start looking to win.
Still doesn't change the reality that they're still rebuilding... again, not FL specific... meaning if FL isn't that is up to them. FL on ice product says they're still building.Florida has been rebuilding forever. At some point, they need to start looking to win.
I'm happy he is in a better place mentally and with his game. The return is incidental.Seriously, you should be happy that he decided to show up despite playing his last games here. Should generate a much better return for the Rangers. The management did a good job to get him going again.
What’s the +?
I thought they viewed Necas as untouchable
That is not a good ideaIf Carolina is still aiming big, I’d try to do something around Mika for Necas+
FWIW, I don't want to trade Mika at all. That is not a good idea
Now sure if it was mentioned but Friedman said today on 31T that Colorado is “going to nibble, but not giving up big assets unless it’s a home run.”
I take that as cold water on them being heavy in on Hayes.
I know what Mika is. I do not know what Necas is. Mika under his current deal should not be traded for futures. If you want to trade him for a 1D, I could see it; but there is zero reason to move Mika for magic beans.FWIW, I don't want to trade Mika at all.
Playing Devil's advocate: I guess it depends on your views on how long this rebuild will take. Mika will have a NMC kick in next year, and they'd be acquiring a top prospect in hockey. It'd require more pieces from Carolina, but Necas is uber talented and can absolutely fly. He was dominant at the WJC, but the kid couldn't buy a goal.
