Taylor Hall being held out of the line up tonight. Maybe he gets traded soon and some teams circle back on Kreider.

I suspect Kreider could be of interest to teams post-Hall, in the same sense that Hayes was of interest to more teams post-Duchene.

Neither guy was/is viewed as the first domino to fall, but they’re similar in the sense that there’s going to be a solid market.

Wonder if this will affect players coming over to the NHL sooner and/or more often

This is excellent, I think. The KHL appears to be a very evolved league. I watched some of their TV broadcasts, too. They are very impressive. Just seems like a first class operation in general, despite the lower budgets.

I bet they'll get more for him than Adam Larsson, but that's still unfortunate for New Jersey that they couldn't get him signed.

If the Rangers would like to deal with the Avs, it would be best for them if Hall went to the Blues.

Avs make so much sense. They could use another scorer and are weak at LHD. It's a shame Skjei has such a long term contract. He'd be good for them but they have too many RFAs next year which they'll need to resign as their window is open.

Pageau or Kreider will end up on Colo or STL it just depends which to where. If it's the Avs I can see Jost and the 1st. Kaut hasn't been that great in the AHL, at least Jost is a serviceable bottom 6er.

Dater is saying the Avs are out, but it’s Dater so who knows

Hall is probably too rich for Sakic’s blood

St Louis makes a lot of sense, they’ve already won a cup. So if they go for it this year and don’t win again, they’ve already got a championship to please people

I'm assuming the package for Hall will look something like a top 3-5 prospect in a teams pool, a younger NHL player that hasn't put it all together but has potential, a 1st and a conditional 1st if that team makes the cup finals.
