How the hell does Beauvillier return a 2nd rounder? Yikes.
Buffalo clearly had enough of Cozens.
Think the last straw was him just standing around while Dahlin was repeatedly getting popped in the face.
Crickets can just be radio silence rather than a denial.

yes probably but i bet Buffalo wanted Schneider as the main piece and Drury wouldn't do it
The same way Warrior Lindgren gets you a second+. It's not a great market compared to past years but Im still surprised by these returns. happy we were able to take advantage too

I don't know zlev, the Rangers now have a surplus of D - I don't think that would hold it up. I read rumors he wouldn't include him in the JT Miller trade, Now I am not sure how motivated Buffalo is to move him after the other moves.
The sick thing is if no one mentions Peterka last night, we wouldn't be disappointed. Now that it was floated out there I am going to be upset.

If we aren't able to move Kreider and or Mika, move Jones and Brodz if possible and call it a day. Funny thing is that centers are in demand maybe someone overpays for Brodz

Beauvillier has a pretty long track record of playoff success.

kreider 'back injury' really f***ed us this year. he's a smart guy - he saw the writing on the wall that he was potentially being moved.
so he made himself untradeable. leadership.
I want to deal Kreider now but if no one wants him, it is what it is. there's a spot for CK on the 3rd line and we do miss him on the PP. Hopefully he can swallow whatever is left of his ego and throw a hit or two down the stretch. Or just keep him on LTIR until the playoffs. makes no difference to me. But Othmann and Berard should still be in the lineup every night as long as they are still on the team.
