I'd Drury rather do nothing today than do something stupid.

Soucy was a step in the stupid direction. He had already done the bare minimum prior to that.

If he can pull of something big that makes sense? Go for it.

If not, the summer will present a ton of opportunities.

If you can’t trust him not to do something stupid today, what’s going to change on July 1st.

Sometimes the best move is no move, but HFNYR wants action and sees inaction as weakness rather than prudence.

I don't.

If he can make it through today with out doing something dumb that will at least show me something.

Plus I think he's going to have more maneuverability this summer. We know there are guys that he wants to move that are going to be tough moves right now. That won't be the case in June-July.

Sitting things out is probably the right move. Roster has had a gargantuan amount of turnover. Maybe dump one of their 4 6th defensemen.

the hate that Kreider gets on this forum is f***ing ridiculous. it really all just boils down to being ungrateful. he's one of the greatest Rangers ever. he scored 52, 36 and 39 goals the past three seasons. he willed this team to a win in game 6 of a playoff series last year when it looked like the team was done. yes, he SUCKS this year. but he's allowed to have a down year after all of that. it happens and he's at the age where the decline unfortunately starts to happen. it's possible he's just out of gas. all of the locker room BS is straight up conjecture and really just people here making shit up in their own heads. nobody has any idea what goes on in the locker room.

I dont think it's hate, I think it's frustration, atleast that's what it is with me. He's obviously one of the better goal producing Rangers ever, but he has been terrible this year, and if it was injury then what's he doing in the lineup, what was he doing playing in the 4 nations? The issue is he has been sulking since they moved Goodrow and Trouba. The team is paying him well to be a good hockey player, he isn't right now, and maybe he's hurt, but really why didn't he just sit and get healthy if that were the case. The reason is he selfishly wanted to play the 4 nations. So yes I'm frustrated with his play, I'm frustrated he didn't even attempt to get healthy, and while I can acknowledge his contributions to this team over the last number of years, his selfishness has tarnished that and he's hurting the teams chances of being successful.
