Not familiar with Zykov's game but I do think Soshnikov has more to give. With speculation we are going into the next game with 11 forwards I would put a claim in here. St. Louis is playing way under their capabilities so I wouldn't put much stock in a young guy's failures there.

Well on the other hand, claiming Zykov or Soshnikov would be us competing too much since we would have to send down Gettinger or Fogarty...at least according to a few on here, therefore just forget it...need to lose on purpose

The acquiring team would need time to finalize a contract so this may come to a head sooner than later. I don't think it goes past the deadline but I would circle that like a vulture on Dec 2.

I don't see how it would change anything?

The asking price won't drop and Toronto's needs won't change.

This season now I believe. The cutoff for last year's standings is November 1st. Or used to be.

Keep in mind teams that claimed guys also move to the back of the line.
