I posted about him in 2013:
C/W William Nylander - Modo, SHL (2014, 8th overall, Toronto)
Yeah. Me too. Especially considering who was GM for him at the time...

Not sure you would know this, but is the WN situation distracting teams from other goings on. I am sure Gorts is still working phones on moving our other assets and not fully focusing on WN. Do you know who might be going next, or who might be calling GMJG for help.Yeah. Me too. Especially considering who was GM for him at the time...
It's possible but a lot of teams are simply out on Nylander because of his potential cap hit. Tough add in the middle of the season. How many teams are willing to trade and negotiate by dec 1? I'm sure a deal would be agreed prior to a trade, but has anyone even started talks in case they trade? Probably not.Not sure you would know this, but is the WN situation distracting teams from other goings on. So many shades of Trouba here. He'll re-sign with Toronto which is probably best for everyone involved. Except for Toronto since their D is not going to sniff a championship.

Trouba coming here would possibly be pretty cool but I feel like we'd give up a little too much for our likingI think Trouba to NY had a better shot at happening than Nylander to NY does.

I like having more centers on the roster. I think it gives good flexibility. Centers can often play a wing defensively fine. More guys to take draws. Seems smart.Fogarty was called up
Rangers 3 Stars Of The Week: The Winning Keeps On Going
Who said maybe it was better off if Filip Chytil was better off in Hartford?
This sentece is a quote from the article.. and you are right. Lias is in almost the same situation with his TOI.What people actually said was that Chytil was better off in Hartford if he was going to play 6 minutes a night in the NHL. Which is still true. Now he is playing in a top-9 role which is great.
Guess he is not being ruined after all.Rangers 3 Stars Of The Week: The Winning Keeps On Going

Guess he is not being ruined after all.
Also, a case can be made that right now Hayes is the best Rangers all around forward.
Hearing anything BBKers? Anything on Nylander front?Yeah. Me too. Especially considering who was GM for him at the time...

TBH given the choice, I would trade Zibby over Hayes because he will bring back more in a trade, and Hayes is not that far off from Zibby as a player.Guess he is not being ruined after all.

Next people are going to gripe about rushing Fogarty.Guess he is not being ruined after all.

The King is sitting just below his career average. So he's having an average month and a half already. As soon as the King has his average month, you will all come back to earth and realize we are for sure selling at the TDL and we are not a playoff team. We are winning games that we should not be winning, honestly.
secretly coveting defensive ready prospect? For what purpose? We already have 8 D, and a bunch of prospects.
