When you have to clarify your message in every thread, it should become pretty apparent that the problem isn't the people you're talking to, it's that your messaging sucks.

when you have to clarify messages to the same few people it’s them. The others are just fine.

I posted about Lemiuex and his contributions. Pretty clear. I shouldn’t have responded to those who don’t read and certainly those few who love to sit around a further mess up an easy message.

i’m not here to clarify easy messaging and then continually re-clarify messages which somehow get derailed.

You are the one who brought up plus-minus

like i said, i shouldn’t have responded. I mentioned Lemieux’s contributions which aim at his total contributions. That’s what i brought up. I find the plus/minus as irrelevant at his response to penalties drawn b/c he doesn’t bother to read the initial message. It’s a habit a few have here. Botch a message, botch it more, nit pick and further distance themselves from the initial message and intent.

Before Corona hit, I found it to be a slam dunk they'd buyout Hank, now, not so much. I don't see an Eichel acquisition happening for at least one more season. Buffalo will try hard to get back to the dance next year, and if they don't, Eichel will probably go off on them and want out.

an idiot is one who can’t comprehend a post and is too lazy to read a thread yet chimes in. Not that you historically have demonstrated that on a daily basis.

Nope, can't say I have honestly. Especially since this is one of the threads I actually keep up to date in. Tell ya what though, post something intelligent for a change, and I'll commend you for it. After all, it'll be the first time I've seen that from you.

That works out in the Rangers favor, but if I'm Eichel, why wait one more year?

Jack's smart enough to know it will take 3 years of competent moves to right the ship, but ironically enough, Buffalo can advance that time horizon by trading Jack.

Purinton was a dangerous fighter, but Langdon was so effective and so smart. watch this clip of him and Twist:

No one, No One, could hang with twist like this back then.
Now watch this long fight with Brashear in Brashear's prime:

Again, another good showing against a player with a much better reputation. Langdon may have been one of the most underrated enforcers ever.
Brashear was trash by the time we got him. I cant count on one hand the fights he won decisively in a Rangers jersey.

Langdon was not a big guy but he was so strong and had great stamina. He fought holding guys in tight and could get short shots off quick.

The thing I’ll always remember about Langdon was him saying he wasn’t even close to the toughest guy in the organization back then, Dan Cloutier was nuts and the guy nobody wanted to mess with. A couple years later Cloutier pounded Salo and challenged the whole Islander bench. Maybe someone can find that clip?
ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!!

It was either Toms, Tibbets or Taylor that had a hat trick with Lindros.

I don't remember. If it was one of the three, it would have been Toms. Tibbets didn't play 15 games for the Rangers (and might not have scored three goals in his entire career). And Taylor was a center who I don't think would have ever played on a line with Lindros.

follow my history and you may, depending on reading comprehension and discipline to read a thread, learn something from the adult world you’re not accustomed to conversing with. Chiming in blindly isn’t working for you.

PUTTY!!! As I recall there was a contingent on the board waiting for me to come on that morning so that the ball breaking can commence. You remember my love for him?

Langdon was an unreal second half fighter.

That Cloutier clip isn't hard to find. Very popular moment still.

Those teams induced some pretty heavy drinking. So there's a lot I don't recall. Some of those lineups and line combinations read like a 5 year old doing a Mad Lib.

But I do remember BTR.

what changed in your opinion? They resigned Wall which i thought was interesting and wondering if that speaks to their future plans.

Speculating - buyout Hank, move Georgiev promote Wall and Huska is in Hartford.

They signed Wall because time ran out. He would hit UFA status in August had they not signed him. Also, they did not re-sign him. He wasn't under contract yet.

You’re right. I remember him in Stamford and forgot he’s not under contract b/c he was in school while Huska got time in Hartford. They didn’t let him walk away though. He’s here and could be part of the big club’s plans. Not sure what to think of Lindbom and wondering if Huska, who didn’t move too well in Stamford, is just big so the puck hits him.
