my only issue would be if Drury truly sees no issue with Lindgren. that would be inexcusable. He's probably a guy that has a lot of value at the TDL though so I could even see the logic in them holding him.

This season is lost IMO. No sense in trying to salvage it. The core is declining and checking out rapidly.

He may be waiting for the deadline to move Lindgren when his value will likely increase.

But theres a risk associated with that given Lindgrens perpetual injury history.

Oh and the other thing, which is his play.

The Machiavellian move for Tkachuk is to capitalize on a potential bidding war for Kreider, and flip whatever assets they get there (with Kakko, Miller and/or Chytil types) for Brady in order to keep laf and perrault in NY.

One thing to keep in mind with Ottawa and Brady, the whole league is aware of the tkachuk machine and how smart they are on the business. I have little doubt that family will at some point be tied to an agency because they are smart and good. Keith is very aware and his kids are the same. Ottawa knows this and they know what this summer brings with his contract.

Biggest complaint I had of him. It was the player's with their backs to the wall, not him. He could have thrown a few barbs here and there but for some reason shielded our primadonnas.

Tkachuk is on pace for 96 points right now.

In reality, it’s not happening unless it’s a major overpay.

Id hate to see Laf go but I'd do that if there was a way to retain Schneider
