Forgive me bobbop. I drink a lot and have a terrible memory  What exactly did you say last summer about DeAngelo?

I recall him saying he’s not NHL ready and still needs seasoning in the AHL, which surprised a lot of us. I thought he was pretty ready until reading that. He also pointed out that he has defensive flaws that need coaching.

His post tempered my expectations of ADA. And that’s cause he watched him, whereas I didn’t.

But apparently being a native And watching Games is a moot point when it comes down to opinions. We can thank RT for that chestnut.

Miller's out there. Teams asking for Kreider & Miller. - Dreger

They should be really careful about going too far with this.

This team's play fell off a cliff the second Kreider went down. He's probably the toughest forward to replace in this lineup.

If they move the 2 of those guys and keep zucc I will be really upset.

Unless Miller is a locker room cancer, just guessing there but he and AV are like peanut butter and mustard, he is one of the players I'd like to see stay. He's tough (for this team anyway) and decently skilled.

I can live with that...but I would rather see him go if we are being honest here . Played a ton of hockey that probably has aged him IMO....if he takes a home town deal to stay...hmmm...OK for now I guess.

This approach with McDonagh is awful... I see Talbot 2.0 here...

McD hasn't been the same players AO wrecked him in the POs years ago.

Rangers think they'll get a kings ransom for the player he once was?
BS! If they hold onto him and sign him to a long contract it's just another death sentence.

Look at the Smith signing. .. a disgusting disgrace.... this not a top notch hockey org.

Pittsburgh fans on here really want JT. But does the actual team need him?

Cool then I want Guentzel. In other words, there’s no deal to be had. Trading Miller within the division for anything less than a haul would be incredibly stupid. Deal him with a ++ for Trouba or a younger cost controlled defenseman.

If the team's rebuilding, McDonagh is going to bring back the most so I don't see any sense in holding onto him. Going to be 30 when his deal expires, not sure it's the best move to re-sign him to 6+ years at that stage. Maybe I'm just hesitant after the disasters that's been Girardi, Staal, and now Smith. I understand McDonagh is much better but age is unkind to all. Don't want a half-ass effort here, this team needs more than just Nash, Grabner, and Zucc trades to shake this core up.

I feel like people just make shit up when they want to drive a narrative that they don't have any evidence for.

This never happened.

Domi is a young fast player who has plenty of character, if you watch his interviews he has so much personality and is very well spoken/charismatic compared to the average hockey player so says “uhhh get pucks deep yunno”
Stepan was very similar in that regard and I think losing him was bad for our lockerroom even though I do think the trade was good. I really hope we try aggressively to get Domi

Where were you when the Rangers during those playoff games against the capitals did you see a Ovechkin boarding him from behind nearly killed him don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about

They want young skilled fast players with character. I'm sorry but doesn't that scream Kreids?! Why would they look to move the exact player they're looking to get ?
Just because teams are calling about him doesn't mean anything. Other scouts feed the talking mouths something to say; they say something along the lines of "I know my team called asking about Kreider, haven't heard anything on it though." And then Dreger just runs with it.

Yeah, and in a sense Lias is in that mold too. Think those in two together would be two very solid pieces in place. Keep Kreider. That is three great character players in place. Leaders in their own way.

Am I crazy for hoping we move Hayes? I think he’s the odd man out with Mika, Chytil & Andersson. Especially if we’re landing a young center like Howden in a McDonagh deal. I’ve never loved Hayes, he’s had a decent season but he’s so inconsistent and a pretty lazy player. He seems like he has no pulse sometimes, I want both him and Miller gone
