Not blaming anyone for anything. Just saying that when Choose to Loose for Hughes comes about, no matter how bad the Rangers are, Bettman would't allow the first overall pick to land with them. Frankly, no matter how bad the Rangers are, their chances will only get worse in the lottery.
 
Pionk has been quite impressive. Good for him, and very good for the Rangers.

Dumbest thing I read/hear is is bs that Norwegian hockey fans wants him on NYR come hell or high water. Why would we want that?
#1: I've been a NYR fan since 89 when I saw my first game at MSG. Anyways, I've been wanting another cup since 94, just like the rest of us.
#2: Zucc is our (Norways) biggest hockey export, but he ain't winning here even if he signs another deal (he wont get a 6 year deal) Best for bother parties if he is traded, and im fine with that. I do hope he is traded to a cup winner though, why wouldnt I.

Thing is, and it's getting a bit old, is the constant putrid bs certain posters put out. And we've (as Norwegian NYR fans) have been dealing with it since MZA was signed.
Staying up all night watching every game isn't enough, were just quasi fans just watching zucc, lol

I don't know that we have premium assets right now. I'm not going to argue if people want to say LA, Chytil, and Kravtsov are premium, along with the 1st this summer. But if someone says we have premium assets beyond that while also calling Nylander a complimentary player... I think there is bad evaluations there.

I don't think Toronto is sniffing around for futures. It would be immediate help to get over the top. The true problem is we don't really have what they need. But there is no way Kreider or Skjei holds up that deal for me.
 
I would do a trade involving Nylander around Shattenkirk, Zuccarello or Hayes as a main piece. I don't necessarily think Toronto would, but at this point, they may very well not be able to sign him to a reasonable contract.

Yeah, no premiums. Toronto is the one in a tough spot. We can offer some decent pieces though. The pieces with a little more rust on them.

Yes, his stats would improve if he went to a better team and played less. That said, his relative numbers are shit too. How can you explain that? I think that's the problem the stats crowd have with him more than anything. If his relative numbers were ok to good but his regular numbers blew you can chalk it up to a team problem. However, right now it looks like both a team and a Pionk problem.
 
Anyone know where I can find the Rangers depth charts (going all the way down to the prospects that we have) for left and right defense? I remember that our RD pipeline is pretty frightful.

Yeah. It really doesn't make sense for the largest hockey market in the US to have a super star player. Would be so bad for the NHL. I think he should go to a team like Arizona or Florida.

The conspiracy stuff has to stop.

Sometimes teams get dicked out of the top pick. The new system is fair, teams shouldn’t be allowed to fail their way to multiple 1OA’s.

That said, all the Rangers can do is position themselves as best they can to get as high a pick as possible. After that, let the balls land where they may. Hopefully in our favor.

Not sure where a clear cut depth chart is per say, but this all the prospects.

HFD has all lefty dmen, so obviously guys are playing on the right side. I'm not totally up to speed on any of our prospects that shoot left but play RD. Others can chime in there
