Maybe if they half develop both ADA and Pionk by rotating them every other game, while only pairing them with Staal, someday both will be as good as the current Staal.

Yes I guess he had to change it after this day training session, but Howden line was good last night.

I agree, but as I said in the PGT, in think it has more to do with Buch.

Now we have a new duo with chemistry, Zucc & Howden. Quinn is trying different players on the left wing to find that great line he's looking for :)

I had a feeling that McQuaid was going to sit tomorrow. We already knew Shattenkirk was guaranteed a spot in the lineup and Claessen wasn't going to be one and done after how he played last night. Had ADA had a better night then Pionk would still be sitting.

Chytil might still be sent down to Wolfpack - he would benefit with another year in AHL concerning his own development and building muscles. I doubt Jeff Gorton is happy to see him centering the 3rd C line /4th line after today training session.

dont think that matters.

if staal wasnt a dumpster fire he would be playing every game.... wait....

ADA and pionk are sharing games. thats the plan.

pionk can play great, wont matter. plus they are both paired with staal.

if 77 got a few games with 76, 77 wouldn't ever be a h/s. ever.

Quinn said that he watched last season's games. When have Zucc and Buch ever played well on the same line? They usually don't even play well on the same PP.

Chytil still on the fourth line. Vesey and Fast get comfy top 9 minutes. Chytil has to carry the fourth line.

Staal. Don't even get me started. We all know he doesn't deserve his spot. ADA should be in the lineup instead of him. I'd rather dress 11/7. Have ADA play the second PP. Lettieri sucks. He shouldn't be in the lineup.

I'm giving your boy a chance on that line, you should do the same with my boy :DD

What if they explode with Howden in the middle, wouldn't that be great?

Btw...Howden and Buch played together before? Never mind Zucc, he's just there as a leader and mentor.

If Zucc gets traded to Pittsburgh, would you officially be a Pens fan?

Just because guys didn't play well together in AV's system, doesn't mean it wouldn't work in Quinn's system. And even then, he's new, he's experimenting. No problem.

As far as Chytil, he'll get his chance. Lots of moving parts. Fast has been great and for a couple games at least Vesey was a dynamo. Again, experimentation. New system. It will work itself out.

Slash insurance against Smith ****ting the bed again, which although warranted, now seems superfluous

Insurance generally sits if the guy you took the policy out on is playing well. Either that, or that guy sits. They're both playing.

Zuccarello finds chemistry with anyone he plays with. Impressive.
