noIf Nashville falls out of the playoff picture, Chytil for ROR could be a solid base. I would try and include Goody for Trenin in that trade somehow but not sure what other pieces would need to be added. Trotz I am sure could be a Goody guy as he plays exactly like he wants his players to play.
He’s still in the league? I said the same thing today when Washington wasted money and a contract slot on Ethan f***ing Bear. Before anyone asks, no we don't want Tyson Jost. Bad at everything.
Going to see them with my son for the 3rd year in the row. Became our annual thing. The Rangers are ALWAYS in Florida for NYE… why is that? This has been going on for years.
We all talk about how f***ed up the scheduling is, but this and a few other road trips/opponents always seem to hit around the same time of year…
Boston around St Pattys day, almost always is another.
There must be something to it, no?
Probably more to do with what is happening at MSG than anything else. The Rangers are ALWAYS in Florida for NYE… why is that? This has been going on for years.

We were in Colorado that one year and Kreider had a hat-trick.The Rangers are ALWAYS in Florida for NYE… why is that? This has been going on for years.

I always remember playing the Isles around St PattysThe Rangers are ALWAYS in Florida for NYE… why is that? This has been going on for years.

I remember when this board was obsessed with adding JostHoly toledo
I've heard that his skating is poor, and every other part of his game is mediocre at best. He's not particularly good at ANYTHING, but he's not that bad at anything other than skating. He'd be worth a shot for a couple of teams. Before anyone asks, no we don't want Tyson Jost. Bad at everything.
They're pretty different players, but if Will can add some of that to his bag it would really fit his style of game.I would love to see Cuylle in the Kreider position on the powerplay in front of the net. I'd love to see Kredier help him cause havoc on the PP with his size and skill.
Undersells it. Makes Goodrow look like prime Doug Gilmour. One of the worst non-facepunching longtime NHLers I've ever seen.
It looks SOOO bad. The big question is how much he is the causation vs merely part of the correlation.Holy toledo
Ya think the radio booth will get a visit from Sal “Red Light” Massina? The Rangers are ALWAYS in Florida for NYE… why is that? This has been going on for years.

but did you see his badass hieroglyphics jersey? He’s still in the league? I said the same thing today when Washington wasted money and a contract slot on Ethan f***ing Bear.
Lindgren, Kakko, Pinto, Hanifin? You’re like a week or two late to the party, old man hahaDon’t see any major pieces moved out during the season. Drury will be looking to add but lack of cap space and asset capital hurt. Off season, I see a move for a young center and a LHD both likely. Lindgren and Kakko both could be moved then.
Don’t undersell Pinto. Good young player who probably needs a change of scenery and has an NY connection.
Don't ignore the lure of adding a player like Hanifin. Young veteran with Plenty of career still in front of him.

Vince with a trade candidates article. Id honestly be surprised if Elias Lindholm isnt a Ranger if Chytil is actually done for the year. He also mentioned Tommy Novak from Nashville, who I dont know too much about but he seems like a a good target. Puts up points with an 800K contract. Teammate of Lindgren at the University of Minnesota. Probably a high price to pay to get him from Nashville if they fall out of the race, but he could be a long-term fit.
I wonder if Trenin will be moved. 27 years old. 24 points last year in 77 games. He's a very physical player and could be a candidate that the team could bring in and then re-sign for 3-4 years as a physical bottom-6 guy. 9 points in 33 games this year so perhaps the price will be somewhat reasonable. He'd push Cuylle down or be pushed down to the 4th line as depth.
People who wanted Hathaway should also want Trenin. He has a similar impact on the ice to Hathaway with his high compete level, hitting and PKing.
I like Trenin, just hoping we wouldnt make a Jeannott type trade for him. I wonder what the price on Trenin & Novak would be.
