Jesper Fast is currently rocking a 65.4 CF% (seriously) and has 2 goals and is -2 in 30 games (LOLOLOLOLOL)
the guy we signed instead has a 38 CF and 1 goal in 26 games (LOLOLOLOL)

And a terrible contract to go along with those numbers.the guy we signed instead has a 38 CF and 1 goal in 26 games (LOLOLOLOL)
No no trust me he’s the guy you need come playoff time.the guy we signed instead has a 38 CF and 1 goal in 26 games (LOLOLOLOL)
I've identified this year's Beauvillier even though Beauvillier could still be this year's Beauvillier. Don't know if I'm ready for the reveal. Cised.
It’s been barely over 1/4 of the season. It’s more realistic to expect Lindgren to regain his form from last year than trying to find his replacement and hope it will work out AND not cost an arm and a leg. Got to head to @RangerBoy - there’s really no room for another top-6 D, the best hope is to maybe find 7th D to supplement Jones in depth. Similar in long term too. IMO Lindgren is still one 4-year contract away from Girardi / Staal situation. Its not.
Trust me, they can make it happen if they want to. Problem is this organization has a LONG history of falling in love with players who aren't very good/used to be good but are currently bad. Fear the same is happening with Lindgren who is a clear detriment to the team no matter how much people don't want to admit it.
I can understand the apprehension of disturbing the room, but its not a big enough of a draw back considering how bad Lindgren has been this year. He's always been miscast in that role and its rearing its ugly head because hes been sub replacement level this year. A ton of guys would be an upgrade, doesn't have to be someone due a big contract. Theres no need to McDonagh Fox with his Girardi.
Gotta admit this seems a little passive aggressive.the guy we signed instead has a 38 CF and 1 goal in 26 games (LOLOLOLOL)
Fast left for Carolina for the 20-21 season, Goodrow didn't sign until the 21-22 season. I don't think they waited a year to replace a bottom six wing. And a terrible contract to go along with those numbers.
This is our current reality, regardless of when those deals were signed.Fast left for Carolina for the 20-21 season, Goodrow didn't sign until the 21-22 season. I don't think they waited a year to replace a bottom six wing.
They didn't put in a strong effort to resign Fast to make room for Kakko and Kravtsov, which should be quite the cautionary tale to people wanting to earmark a top 6 C spot to Chytil. Goodrow had nothing to do with any of that.
Chychrun is always hurt and this board would go into meltdown if we gave up that much to watch a guy play 10 or 12 games and miss the rest of the season like he did last year. I like Chychrun but you can't ignore his health and if he is healthy he is going to get more than 7 a year on his next deal and that contract could be terrible due to him missing so much time due to injuries. Guy is made of glass.Chychrun was the play... I'll live in the past
could have landed him with the cost of Copp and Tank.. idealogy differences.
p.s. I do not want Hanafin at UFA money
I dont think you know who Hanifin is. Guy is absolutely a 1st pairing dman and playing 23 mins a night with Andersson in Calgary. The gap between Hanifin and Lindgren is massive. Dont believe me go to the main boards and start a thread stating that and you will be laughed at by neutral fans. Not trying to make fun of you but Hanifin is light years better than Lindgren at literally almost everything except for getting beat up.Again how do you fit the cap?
Hanafin is 27 and has never been a top pairing D. Lindgren might be playing over his head, but I dont see hanafin playing the same style lindgren does, which helps lindgren play over his head.
You want to improve our team, and thats the same thing we all do, but if lindgren takes a 5y x 4.5 million deal, vs hanafin at 7x7 or something like that. I run to sign lindgren because the gap isn't "that big"
For the sake of your own credibility NEVER suggest going to the main board to resolve a Rangers board argument.I dont think you know who Hanifin is. Thank you!For the sake of your own credibility NEVER suggest going to the main board to resolve a Rangers board argument.
In this particular instance first try to address what @IDvsEGO started his post with: how do you reconcile the cap difference? The unquestionable factor FOR Lindgren is that he’s playing on the first pair for significantly less than first pair D AAV.
Thats ridiculous. So when you go to the main boards and discuss players on teams that you don't root for your opinion is garbage? For the sake of your own credibility NEVER suggest going to the main board to resolve a Rangers board argument.

To be fair to 55, he was targeted by a nutjob who took 5 full strides tonight. It wasn’t like he put himself in a vulnerable position like that last two games.Lindgren destroyed TWICE tonight. Make the move.
Main board is full of numbnuts, homers and Rangers haters.Thats ridiculous. So when you go to the main boards and discuss players on teams that you don't root for your opinion is garbage?
If this team can go out and find a player to play with zib and kreider we have something
Vince may have read that nonsense that he wasn't a good signing by Drury. This game made those post look silly again.
says every fan of every teamMain board is full of numbnuts, homers and Rangers haters.
