Find a way to get and resign Hanifin. Don't trade for old players. It's a waste. Sign them in the off-season for league minimum like we did.

Hanifin-Fox
Miller-Trouba
Gus-Schneider
Jones

The obvious problem, Lindgren is just so well liked in the room you really shouldn't make that move during the year when you are playing well. However, Lindgren isn't playing well and adding Hanifin would be huge. American player too so you know Drury knows and likes him and he likely knows some of the players on the team. Perhaps it's a draft day deal.

Using a 1st+ for Gourde w retention makes the most sense. He can plug in at RW next to Fabio or center in the middle 6

I really don’t know how we make space without trading Goodrow though

Vesey is the best option but coach doesn’t want to break up the 4th line. I prefer Vesey over AHL 30 year old Al-Star Brodzinski. I’d rather Othmann or someone like Rempe or Edstrom get called up over an AHL lifer especially if Goodrow is out for more than a game.
If Goodrow misses any games for losing 1 tooth, we should get our money back.

Hanifin would be a yuge add but he’s outside our price range. Also we desperately need RW help

I would not mind Jason Zucker as a deadline move. I would not mind if they wanted to give Phil Kessell a look if they get desperate.

Knowing the fans luck watch the Rangers try to sign fellow bust Puljujarvi?? He is still UFA and would be cheap. Still not playing anywhere yet lol

Arizona is making one final attempt at getting a new building. They changed strategy over the summer after losing the referendum last spring. They want to put a competitive product on the ice instead of tank games.

Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman discussed the Coyotes on Marek's show yesterday. Arizona could be a buyer at the deadline. Not a seller.

As messed up as the organization probably still is, they have a pretty good hockey operation going on. And obviously they would want to sell their players that there's something to play for, if they get them reinforcements as a reward for their good play.

The Yotes are pretty good. Not a contender but there are things to like about what they're putting out there on the ice.

Their fans should be optimistic and if they're in a position to add this deadline they should. You can't rebuild forever and getting some important games for the players is valuable too.

Speaking of the 'Yotes

Blake Wheelchair is getting worse. Sucks because we just needed him to be decent.

I swear if you look at his face it's as if he's like "holy shit, I really suck now, how can they not see this?"

Rangers have to add some pop to that limp dik right side by the new year.

Team really needed these three days off. Has Chytil started skating yet? Have they announced a timetable for Kakko? Is Goodrow's face still alive?

Kreider still pulls away from pretty much everyone he gets a half step on so I'm not buying this. He made McAvoy look like Staal a few weeks ago.

the Issue with Kreider/Zib is that Kreider tries to become a finesse player when they're together. Kreiders best work will always be playing more of a cycle based game and that just doesn't happen with Zibanejad (because he won't do it and Zibanejad can't.)

I'm all for throwing Vesey up there and seeing what happens but I think the answer (when they get a healthy roster) is to split the 2 of them up. I'm confident that Kreider can and would be effective if he plays with Troceck or Chytil - Those combos have always worked.
Agree except last para, Vesey mid 6 maybe but not top line

No on half ass rentals etc
retained Shesty + Robertson
for
Byfield +

Raanta plays well if not too much workload
reasonable to acquire for depth
Quick + Garand + Raanta = sufficient while setting up for future
for once, listen to bern get ahead of the effin curve

and enjoy
Kreider - Byfield - Zib

Chytil has been skating on his own for the last week or so according to the beat. I haven’t seen if he’s practiced with the team or not, but I’m 99.9% sure he hasn’t yet.
