All of the shit I just read in the last 4 pages is blowing my f'ng mind
What's the worst that can happen?I like you Kevin but Miller-Fox should be given a shot, you can always go back to the traditional pairings if I doesn’t work out. It’s not looking like we’ll be fighting for a playoff spot in the second half so that would be a time for experimenting imo.

Don't call me Kevin, Ricky.
Is he a former high major DOBO?You’re not Kevin Huerter of the Sacramento Kings? Now I’m embarrassed
Nah this guy is a way better shooter than Kevin. You’re not Kevin Huerter of the Sacramento Kings? Now I’m embarrassed
YawnI would. The synergy between Fox and Lindgren should be nurtured, caressed, cised-inducing. Not destroyed.
You are not giving him enough credit for what he means to this team. He's a solid Dman and he plays tough minutes. The offense has not been there this year but he has scored between 15-20 points every year before this year. Not great but not horrible either. He's an important player on and off the ice. How much is Hanifin going to cost at 50% retained? Maybe the Rangers should look to upgrade their biggest weakness first which is 1RW.He is a blackhole on offense. Guy is all heart and soul sure but he isn't a great hockey player. The fact he plays on the 1st pairing isn't a good thing. In terms of players if you want a top pairing guy there is 1 available so far and that is Hanifin at 50% would work. If the Rangers want to shift KAM and Gus up and that could open up more options. If the Rangers are serious about winning a cup Drury should look to improve on him rather than overpay him next year.
noi would buy out Trouba to keep Lindgren
This. Talk about moving Lindgren after the season. It's not something you do in season.Oh i dont want to sign Lindgren. Rather sign Gus. Just easier to move out a popular locker room guy in the summer when it wouldnt be here one day, gone the next, you know?
I don’t really want to see a Lindgren-Trouba pairing. Let Fox carry Lindgren, he’s capable of it.Yawn
Lindgren is being carried by Fox hard. If Miller and Fox is better, they should be together. They shouldn’t be making decisions on whether Lindgren and Fox are buddies
Yep. Amazingly Laviolette and Drury don’t pick the roster by sorting their Excel sheet.I think the emphasis Laviolette and the players have put on being a Team is important. They been on record saying out that it’s been a positive this year compared to last. I’m very hesitant to deal a well liked, long time Ranger who plays with max effort, just for a hypothetical upgrade. Lindgren is a good player and part of the solution this year, I’m just scared off by his contract next year. I’m not dealing him for a UFA.
What about the OV or POT statYep. Amazingly Laviolette and Drury don’t pick the roster by sorting their Excel sheet.

Lindholm is probably one of the top 2 deadline additions. We cant add him without retention at 50%, and that price is going to be driven up very high.I want Lindholm from Calgary.
Line him up on the third line with Chytil at LW and Kakko on RW
Hes a talented Swiss army knife that makes this team insanely deep at center come playoff time.
sure but what are you willing to give up and pay him on top of that? I guess he does have one more year after this but he's gonna be 30 and want a lot more than what he's making nowI want Lindholm from Calgary.

Gus and TroubaI don’t really want to see a Lindgren-Trouba pairing. Let Fox carry Lindgren, he’s capable of it.
Anyone can shoot using the royal road.Nah this guy is a way better shooter than Kevin.
Duclair doesn't seem like a Drury player to me.Duke with a couple goals against the Devils. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger? That does seems like a Drury move
Did Nemeth? Did Reaves? Did Kane? What even is "a Drury player" at this point?Duclair doesn't seem like a Drury player to me.
Nemeth.. a 6'3" dman... Yes very Drury.Did Nemeth? Did Reaves? Did Kane? What even is "a Drury player" at this point?
Personally I think Duke fits the bill since he has a motor and plays like an energizer bunny at times. He added another element for Florida on their run this past spring, could do that for us too. I think that'd be good on the cheap. I just wonder how cheap.
Let me guess, you weren't cised when Panarin played with Fast?Yawn

Nemeth.. a 6'3" dman... Yes very Drury.
Reaves... LOL yes.
Kane... Nope... His hand was forced.
Drury likes his players to have an aggressive/physical edge... Or at least seem to.
