The recent growth of Riko’s in the lower Fairfield County area has forced Drury to work relentlessly on a new 4 cheese pizza at Colony’s. There are rumors he might even introduce a new Hot Honey pie to the menu, though my sources cannot fully confirm this.

When operation f*** You Riko’s is completed, Drury will turn his attention to Laf. Patience young grasshopper.
Riko's is hot garbage. Most Bar style pizza is barely a step above frozen pizza, honestly.

I don't know where this is worth mentioning, but I just wanted to note the passing of Leafs prospect Rodion Amirov. It's quite sad and reminds me a bit of when Cherry passed. I remember watching lots of clips of Amirov in his draft year hoping the Rangers took him. He had a real bright future. My heart goes out to him and his family. But also to all those kids that sacrifice a lot for a pro sports dream and end up coming up short. And in his case, he never got that opportunity to make up for lost time later in life. You just never know how much time you have on this earth. RIP Rodion.

Robert Mastrosimone played a large portion of his youth hockey with the Long Island Royals. He also played high school hockey for one season as a 7th grader. He routinely scored about 7 goals a game at the freshman level. I know because I reffed his games often.

It’s crazy evidence of just how impossible the draft is. The guy was the 54th overall pick and now less than 4 years later he looks to be potentially without a contract. Wild!
I would love for us to sign at least one College FA. With Muse on the staff, he should have more insight into these particular kids. So, if we don't sign any it may give us some indication that the team wasn't prepared to go all out for someone. Time will tell. I haven't loved the shake HFD has given the last few FAs we signed out like Scanlin and Trivigno. I thought both players deserved a bit more reward for their efforts last year. Both seemed decent to me.

What we need from Ed is a Photoshop of a bald Artemi with a dad bod being put in a cop car.

Well, we did want Panarin to shoot more. But think something got lost in translation.
on a serious note, if this happened in domestic soil would Panarin be in danger of a suspension either by the league or the team? I don't know the particulars of this story at all, but for instance the Ja Morant situation comes to mind. I'm guessing if this happened in Russia there are likely less consequences but there may be rules in NHL contracts that might trigger some sort of disciplinary action for the league or team.

Without wanting to get into a whole 'country v country' thing, isn't discharging a firearm in public just called 'Tuesday' in the US?

i mean, leaving federal and state laws to the side, the guidelines in Pro Sports contracts are usually more restrictive when it comes to things like drug use and firearms. The more money the players make the more the leagues and teams expect risk-free behavior from their athletes. Point is, there could be some disciplinary action if this is in violation of NHL or NHLPA by laws or Panarin's specific contract with the team. Of course Panarin had that dust up with the Putin administration a few years ago and for all we know these charges could be the result of some residual stuff. So it's surely more complex than that. I'm really just pointing out that Panarin is likely to at least have a meeting about this with league, pa or team officials.

Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg at a NYC nightclub, pled guilty, and had to serve two years in prison in the middle of his career. The gun was not licensed in New York or in New Jersey, where Burress lived. His license to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Florida had expired.
