my understanding is that guys on two contracts get paid their AHL salary on the taxi squad so its the same pay for richards either way unless he gets added to the nhl roster...also means that guys like miller and kakko are losing $$ each time they are shifted to the taxi squad.

Laine is a one trick pony. Take away his space and he makes no impact on the game otherwise.

I still like Roslovic. I believe he is a hometown kid and he's played very well so far for the Jackets. Maybe he becomes a very productive 2nd/3rd line player.

Virtanen just had a get me out of here type of a game similar to PLD so I think the clock on the Virtanen trade with the talks of Boston etc. today is likely at 24-48 hours. I could see us trading a few of our Howdens and Gauthiers that haven't quite worked out for a reclamation in Virtanen. Not sure what Vancouver is looking for though.

Both ufa . Sutter good on faceoffs I believe and Benn can play both sides.

Honestly that is the type of deal I think will go down. A guy like Bennett is ideal but no one wants to take a risk on Tony while giving up much

what if Buch can bring back the young center? The Rangers will have a cap problem if they think they can resign all their vets and then pay these kids. Time flies yet the cap lingers.

Gauthier is a possibility.
