May not be the biggest, but he sure as shit up there. I don’t know, seems to be A LOT of Rangers fans in the GDT with the same perspective. Are we all wrong? Or maybe the Strome defenders need to take the blinders off. He sucks. The play dies all too often on his stick. Constant turnovers AGAIN tonight. Constant. Everyone sees it. Why in the hell would CBJ want Ryan Strome? That is not enough for Dubois. TDA, Chytil, Kravtsov/Lundkvist/Jones. Thats your starting point.

If we're looking at things through the lens of this season (yes all of 3 games), I'd put him near the top if not right there.
We've had horrible goaltending in 2 of the 3 games which would be #1. I don't know if I'd put Strome or Quinn's usage of Strome #2.

Strome will wake up once Panarin starts getting hot and gifting him opportunities like last season.
Panarin has been pretty close to his usual self the last 2 games.
the issue is, Strome has been closer to his usual self too. That is, the player he’s been for his entire career other than last year.
I could tolerate Strome last year because he could at least contribute offensively.
This year though? He’s been straight ass for 3 straight games.. And has been rewarded with 20min+ in all three games while producing zero points. He had the game on his stick at the end tonight and the donkey passes it.

We either hope someone like Chytil can develop into that (which I’m slooooowly losing faith in) or pony up the assets for a guy like PLD.
Yeah - yeah he was. But most of our forwards were too so I’ll give him the benefit of doubt. Even Panarin played poorly against the Canes.
