Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Perhaps it's a bit of Covid induced hysteria, but if this thread is any indication, Rangers fans are even more physcho than usual, Ha! Ha!
Imagine having a lineup with Krieder, Panarin AND Mika, along w quite possibly some of the better young talents in the game: Fox, Shesterkin, LaFreniere, Kakko, Kratsov....possibly others as well...
AND still being overwrought with anxiety.
Honestly, from the day the letter went out I could not have hoped we could be in a better position than we are now.

Fair enough, but I’m not holding my breath that any of our LD prospects are top pairing types. Schmidt would balance the backend big time.

I cant figure why so many folks are bent out of shape.
Somewhere along the line we were gonna have to go through cap hell.
And the team is still pretty good.
A disjointed D. Not garbage or dysfunctional.
Zero depth. Not a clue what the bottom six is gonna be.
Two pretty good young goaltenders who are gonna get lots and lots of rubber thrown at them.
Hopefully someone learns to consistently win faceoffs.

Who are we giving to Vegas? They want to unload salary. You wanna give them first rounder? We don’t have a 2nd next year
Possibly. Really hard to assess what d prospect they would want since they may be desperate to unload money. Probably would take at least Zach jones or better. I’m not giving up on Miller or Robertson and obviously Nils/Schneider

I don’t know. I’m not a good trade evaluator. I’d probably be willing to move a couple of prospects that others here wouldn’t be willing to. Something has got to give with this prospect pool.

I feel like if we are gonna dip into top d prospects like Miller or Nils then the return better be someone younger than Schmidt and make less money unless it’s someone really good like Lindholm from Anaheim.

Most people want instant gratification. Buying into a process is not easy. Instead of being excited about the bright future this team has they are too concerned with trivial deals like the one for JJ or getting bent out of shape that we couldn't find the money to give Fast a 3 year deal. The real deals are coming in time. The rest is just noise.

the entire league is opposed to them...since the 2005 lockout there have been 9 offer sheets and 8 of them have been matched...Dustin Penner in 2007 is the only one to change teams. they are a complete waste of time. if the contract offer is reasonable the other team just thanks you for negotiating for them and matches it. if its not, you lose draft picks and screw up your salary cap...
True, but many of us have had a lot of training following this team throughout the years and decades.
If any organization can be a master at shooting them selves in the foot it has been this one.
So we are half glass for a reason and yet still loyal.
