My concern in regards to Strome and DeAngelo is that both players put up very strong numbers in a shorten season. Both players were(are) expecting to make bank. Now though the market has dropped out from under them and we they stay for less than they believe they deserve I worry about attitude and how that will affect the younger players who will be their teammates. As much as I advocate for keeping Tony DeAngelo if he has soured this may be a problem.

the market dictates that they aren't getting their big pay day this year regardless and both of their best chances of getting that next offseason is being here playing with panarin

Question Edge: is it expected that Bitetto gets the 19 games needed to satisfy Exp draft requirements, do we have a Plan B?

I can see Brendan Smith getting extended. 4th liner and 7th D. would have value and can be exposed

That’s a realistic question. I guess my initial response was due to the idea that the team should never offer sheet anyone(across the board). I disagree with that premise.

But yeah, we clearly are dealing with limited cap space. If Fast at 2m is unworkable then obviously we are tied up.

I think it is just an organizational philosophy. Not saying I agree with it, but that's how they feel about it.
