he played in the play-in/playoffs so my assumption is that his eye is fine but definitely something to consider...

but I would expect any signing like that to be believe the amount that you can bury in the minors so if things didn't work out you could just get rid of him with no risk...

Well that's my point. We don't know anything about what's been discussed with Vegas. We're just making educated guesses and I think some folks are losing sight of that.

but that is true of basically every rumor ever discussed here...the calgary rumor started because edge mentioned that they talked and had heard a few names that we like and a few names that they like and then fans ran wild and made up a deal like it was a sure thing. but we have no idea if either side would be on board for the deal that we worked up ourselves lol

agree with your last point, I'm just pointing out the fact that he had that injury. Eye injuries can be so tricky because even though you can still function they may impact your ability. That being said he's definitely a guy we're taking a flyer on for the fourth line so long as the price is right

Grabner makes a ton of sense on multiple fronts.

Vegas needing to move cap makes Tuch coming back as a piece for ADA more likely IMO. Tuch + Krebs + McNabb for ADA + Gauthier.

also Reaves is probably available

I can see to Vegas DeAngelo and Howden

then Buchnevich and perhaps 22 for a LD that is expansion Exempt.

I don’t know if this is the norm or not, but the NTC/NMCs aren’t a standard clause. Everyone can be drafted differently. Many are structured so that the player only has to provide a list on request.

True, but that doesn’t mean you choose bums who happen to be in those positions and give all your best assets for them.

I have not advocated that.
