The answer is, and always will be, Phil Tomasino.

Shane Wright too, but Drury and Francis aren’t ready for that yet.
Im actually with you on both those.
I think Francis sells low on wright at the draft though.

Perry is a no brainer at the moment. Our bottom 6 is atrocious. We need someone who can do something on the 3rd line. Wheeler, Goodrow, Bonino, Brod, Leschansky. Good f***ing lord.

If you can get him for a million, you do that as fast as you can.
Leschansky

Don't know why I chuckled there, but I did

Overdrive talked about Zegras’ terrible habits today. And we’re cised to bring that cat in? Get serious.

Once upon a time a flashy center that couldn't really put it together consistently after a few years in the league was made available in a trade by Ottawa.
And this board hates him. Not a good comp though.

One thing that is pretty much certain for the foreseeable future (baring injury) is that the Panarin - Trocheck - Laff line will not be broken up.

Nor should they

All three are having career years.

There is obviously something there.

I'd expect Gallant or Quinn to make that level a mistake.

Yeah and we need a guy who can play around the net and put pucks in it. I dont really care about his age or foot speed. Tenacious player too, even though hes a terrible fighter

Zegras has taken almost 1300 faceoffs in the NHL and he has a 40.8% win percentage. He's also hurt for at least several weeks. Not sure if folks discussing making a move for him as being an offseason move?

Faceoffs are just one part of the game for a Center.

I like Zegras. All I am saying is, does he ultimately become a winger. Is he better suited there. And if thats the case, are we about to pay a pretty penny for him and he ends up playing wing here.

I wouldn't think he would move Trochek or Zibanejad to wing so unless he's a 3C, he's a winger.

In saying that, he could very well be a play driving winger.

And assuming he's not part of the trade, and healthy, having Chytil back at C we could use another winger

Definitely an offseason move though, if at all.
