Im interested in some players on Minnesota. Duhaime or Marron as bottom 6 rentals. Duhaime is an agitating player and we all know Marron's game. He is slow as molasses but if we want a guy who can cause havoc in front of the net hes the guy. Also gives the team more of a backbone. Middleton is another guy I like on defense. Lindgren replacement in the summer.

I don't think another Vesey is going to cut it. I think this roster needs an actual 70 point winger in order to field a roster on paper that can win multiple playoff series.

The short version is that we tried to replace Tarasenko on the cheap with Wheeler. It hasn't worked. Wheeler hasn't been any more effective than Kakko, he's just knocked in a slightly higher proportion of his chances.

My. only question is whether Wheeler goes to the 4th line or the bench when a trade is made.

Ah so Bonino got Jeff Halpern'd

I’m actually starting to question the Vegan diet thing. I don’t have any issues with veganism, but the dude doesn’t look as strong or attack the offensive zone like he used to.

They had Tarasenko last year and weren't close to what they needed to be.

Yeah and you need to stop.

Anyone who complains about him going vegan and that being the impact for his play just doesn't understand nutrition.

Yes its harder to hit certain markers through your diet than if you were to eat meat, but that doesn't mean that its impossible or even THAT hard. He's a multimillion dollar athlete, the Rangers have a personal chef and a nutritionist on hand. They know what they're doing.

I am slowly, sadly, getting closer to coming to terms with this. It’s sad to give up on him so young. I want to keep him. I hope management can get creative and figure something else out.
